Hi We want to see work time schedules How does the brightness level drop depending on the operating time?
@boinapretaRR11 ай бұрын
Hi there, Today I ended up buying your new headlamp (HC65 UHE), as it has a greater spread of light. At least I hope so! But I wanted to leave some important notes for your next headlamp! That you make a headlamp that has a bigger battery (example; 21700), that also has a 365/395nm ultraviolet LED, and that has better heat dissipation (lots of large fins). I have your HC65(v1) and the flashlight in high light mode, it doesn't last long, going to low light mode. Something that is not good, as I work in construction. I hope this information reaches the responsible engineers. Thanks Now just hope for the best! 😂

nice to see the 8lm high cri and red. I initially didn't see anything lower than 100 lumen. would be nice if it had a magnetic tail cap. it was nice using that feature on my hc33 at times

Design and feature wise, this headlamp is similiar with NU50 and NU40. I wonder why this headlamp is put into HC line up.

Does this have a long throw beam as well as a wide flood? I find that when throw distances are provided for flood lights the numbers (in meters) are misleading because the glare of the floor makes it hard to see a spot ahead of you. If it has a spot it would be good for rescue missions- spot for lighting the trail far ahead and flood for lighting a scene while you prepare someone to be placed in a litter prior to evacuation
@NitecoreStore11 ай бұрын
No, sadly this only has the flood beam shape!
@nicolatesla7688 ай бұрын
Check out Nitecores HC68, it has a focused beam and a flood beam. You can also "blend" the two for best of both features. Just picked up the HC68 because I wanted a focused beam capability.

I would say this is much better in terms of overall specs! I would say it's worth it if you use it every night, but I would use your best judgment for how much use it would be as it is a more expensive headlamp!
@JMonkey2511 ай бұрын
@@NitecoreStoreThanks. I just bought it. You can always use an extra headlamp. Lol. Even tho the hc68 is a max 2000 lumen as well but the 65 uhe's efficiency run times at 2000 and 1300 lumens is what made me buy it. That and i'm a flashaholic 😜

@@JMonkey25 Hows the comparison between HC68 and HC65 UHE? Facing the same option lol
@JMonkey2510 ай бұрын
@@Harry-vw9kri like them both. The main reason i bought the 65uhe was for the battery life. The 68 does 950 lumens for 2h30 min while the 65uhe does 1300 for 5 hrs. So its a big difference in efficiency. To be honest tho i just carried a couple extra charged batteries for my 68 and i never really needed them unless it was a multi day trip. I mainly bought the 65uhe just to hv it. I like headlamps and flash lights. Lol.

I'll be honest, I like the older style bracket, like the one on my HC60... That new bracket doesn't look very good. The light could fall out if dropped, the clicky thing in the back for the angle adjustment is going to wear out with repeated use. Not a huge fan. Almost got one until I watched the video. Nitecore needs to make a version with the old style bracket. The 2000 lumens is real nice, and definitely an upgrade to my HC60, but not with that new bracket...
@Rzombie2311 ай бұрын
I wish the bracket was rubberized for the portion against your forehead. With no hat on for awhile most nightcores hurt.
@Flohpange11 ай бұрын
Ya I just had an older nitecore NU10 headlamp with both click tabs on the bracket broken off after it was sitting unused for a long time. Nitecore was of no help - said they're not available now. So yes that type of design needs a change so it can't fail (maybe metal) or is replaceable somehow; many options for that. Also needs a simple pad against the forehead. But the common rubber mount is really bad IMO, not sure how people tolerate those: they bounce and are impossible to adjust easily or quickly.

The UI seems ridiculous - double clicking for moonlight mode? Come on, does any other light even have that? (Seriously asking) Crazy that 20 years into LED flashlights, companies are still doing the random click to whatever interfaces. Seems like their design engineers are given just one requirement: here are one or two buttons, design an interface that lets you get to every mode. That's it. So unless you own only one light, they become highly annoying to use since they all work differently. At least within each brand they should be completely consistent where possible, but they can't even do that!
@gosman94911 ай бұрын
I've noticed that too. Have a bunch of Nitecore lights (my favorite company), but I still forget how to use each one of them.
@mmartinez36192 ай бұрын
While I wouldn’t call the UI ridiculous, the criticism is valid. I too find myself fumbling through a UI if I haven’t used a high end light in a while. Maybe some repeatability in a particular model line might help.
