David, your YT channel has been my all-time favorite, and this video is a welcome addition to your high-quality channel. With age, many of us start suffering from hearing difficulties. Hearing aids are so expensive that you wouldn't want to test out a dozen of them to find the right one. Your 1k USD alternative really sounds and looks like the one to buy. A big thanks!

Wish I had heard about the Bose hearing aids in January. While I love my hearing aids, saving the extra $ would have been great. I paid $5400 for mine. Hopefully this will get the word out to people that there seems to be a pretty comparable alternative to the more expensive hearing aids. And folks, if you suspect you have hearing problems, or your friends or your family mention your not hearing well, don't wait like I did. Get your hearing checked! You have no idea how much you're missing out on and some of those sounds you will never get the opportunity to listen to again... Miss you dad.

They do offer Android Compatibility now. I have been using the regular B2s for over a year and they work fine with my Google Pixel Pro phone. I'm upgrading to these so hopefully they will stream calls as described. The regular B2 doesn't come with a hearing test, so I'll have to do that.

I just ordered the Lexie B2 Plus. The website offered a $100 Father's Day discount, but the salesperson I talked to gave me a $300 discount! Final price = $699.

To go to the website I clicked on the link you provided... hope you get the commission.

Thanks for the video! I need to get some sort of hearing assist and cringing at the exorbitant prices given so many people I know have been dissatisfied with their hearing aids. I do hope you’ll do a Followup review on this particular hearing aid in about 6 months & let us know if your husband is still happy. Also, is there a way to make a shortcut to get to the various settings? I envision spending a lot of time fussing with the phone when out with a group and a quick fix shortcut with be quite helpful. Thanks again.

So, if you only have one ear canal... can you just use one of these? Hate that I have to pay for two if I only need one... Other than that, this sounds awesome. Glad your husband has found them so useful! Happy Pride.

How great that you made this video David. We've tried the Lexie B2 hearing aids and have had some issues. Any idea what's changed with the plus model? Your visual tips on tweaks within iPhone settings is very helpful as well and usually left out from the various manufacturers. I'm glad your Husband is finding these helpful!

Hey Sam. There are a few differences. The case for the B2 version is rechargable but doesn't have its own battery (the plus does). Also, the B2 does not have an in-app hearing test feature which allows for more manual adjustments based on environment. The B2 Plus works with both Android and iPhone whereas the B2 is iPhone only. Finally, the B2 Plus allows for music streaming wherease the B2 does not. Hope that answers your questions

@@TechTalkAmerica Got it - thx! What do you mean the B2 version case is rechargeable but doesn't have its own battery? - I do like the in app test. The two sliders seemed a bit generic to me for customizing. Perhaps the in app test applies more granular settings like frequency attenuation at the appropriate places...

@@sampurkin6838 what I mean is like AirPods the case for the B2 Plus has a battery whereas the other needs to be plugged in to charge.

@@TechTalkAmerica And here I thought the case was similar to the AirPods and charged. Got it. Nice new feature for sure. I'm glad to hear he's liking it. We kept getting strange bursts of noise on the B2s. Couldn't attribute it to anything. Gonna try the Plus version. Also trying the Jabra 20's which are $600 more but do allow for more specific frequency control. Not sure if that will even make a difference. Thanks again for your always helpful information.
