She only says three words, but I couldn't take my eyes off of her, so vulnerable & feminine it broke my heart! This scene with Robert Shaw from "The Deep" is my favorite. Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing this! I never saw "The Deep." As I watched this and realized she wasn't going to take her clothes off, I appreciated your choice of a clip. You made me think of my favorite Demi Moore movie - "A Few Good Men." We always think of the conflict between Nicholson and Cruise, but we forget that Moore's character took on the case first, saw she needed help, and humbly asked for it. I don't care much for Demi Moore, but that performance alone is enough to give her a pass in my eyes. This offering of yours wasn't clickbait: it was satisfying. Thank you.

I was living in Bermuda when they were filmed the Deep there -- Worked as a diver on this movie -- One of my many duties was "helping" (just off camera) Jac get up into the boat for the t-shirt scene. ... No matter how good it was on film... It was a thousand times better from a distance of 3 feet. I almost felt I should be giving them my paycheck back for this week of work... LOL

Did she do her own underwater stunts? The scene where she's pulled into the wreck by an unseen moray eel has her smashing hard against the side of the ship. Was that done by her or a stunt double?

Bisset's next line was "if there's something else down there, what would it take to bing it up?" Shaw's response was "a sand gun and Desco equipment", (driving gear with air hoses that are connected to an air compressor on the surface). Bisset refused to use this gear and felt safer using SCUBA equipment. This is why she never dived with Desco equipment during any of the scenes, unlike Shaw and Nolte. As a result of this movie, I became a certified NAUI scuba diver.

Jacqueline Bisset, dancing in her night gown, silhouetted against the sun streaming through the bedroom window, accompanied by Aretha Franklin singing "You make me feel like a natural woman" in comedy genius PAUL BARTELL"s hilarious homage to Hollywood: Scenes From the Class Struggle In Beverly Hills: one of the funniest movies ever made (the clue is in the title), really is one of the great iconic images in world cinema indelibly impressed into my memory. Wow what a moment to be caught up in, so gorgeous and innately sexy if she had never done anything else her entire career would have been justified by this short scene it really is that epic, like a star from the "golden age".
