We really should bring back fitted sweaters! Oversized doesn't flatter everyone. I mostly look floppy with it. That's why I like vintage sweaters and designers like Fabel Knitwear so much. Apart from it being a trend since pretty much the 80's (with some exceptions in the 2000's), oversize doesn't require much knowledge about shaping, so it's pretty beginner friendly and forgiving. I guess that's one reason for it being predominant.

@@Marielm1 hi, I do make an effort to only show patterns that are size inclusive, every pattern in this video has 8-10 sizes except 2, which have 7 sizes. The alva gerensen is tested up to 2 xl and includes 3xl, but she was unable to find testers for it, and I’m sure the hope top is the same. I am running a test knit for my own design and I couldn’t find anyone to test knit 4xl and 5xl! I’m sure it’s better to put out the sizes you could get tested rather than letting people pay for untested sizes just to be size inclusive. I would think most designers would be welcome to grade patterns for someone who is one of those sizes if they are willing to test it for them!
