Great image and a nice piece of glass. I've tried a red electric MC version but I wasn't that happy with the results. Maybe I should try an older version like this.

seems to be the holy grail vintage lens pretty much unanimously. would like to own one someday..thanks for reviewing the early version. that's the one i always go for as i love early single coated lenses

i own the oreston and pancolar f/2 which are both contemporaries and both i love very much

@@dirtyoldlensesI have the oldest zebra Oreston. its just lovely. more creamy and less outline-y than the pancolar but many characteristics of the image are similair. has great coatings and classic meyer-optik vintage color render

UV light will clean up the glass. Might take a few days but it is worth it.
