Thanks for making this video as you promised :) I do have a few questions. May I ask how long the makeup lesson will be? Do you check their theory/writing assignments during class? In general, do students level up quickly? Thank you!

Makeup lessons are either 30 or 40 min depending on what I can squeeze in my schedule. I'm pretty flexible but ask parents to also be flexible and accommodating with makeup lessons...like you get what you get 😂 I do check theory assignments in class. I can usually check both students' page in 30 seconds and discuss common mistakes with both of them right on the spot! Partner lessons inherently cover less material in class per minute than private lessons. So I would say the speed of progression is even more dependent on at-home practice. But if paired well, partners can either zoom ahead together or "snail-pace" it along together. Each pair is a little different, much like teaching one-on-one. The only time it's an issue is if one zooms ahead of the other, in which case, it's time to split them up amicably. Hope that helps! Thanks!
