Is Luxilon ALU Power 16 string better?

Hi. I am looking for something like Alu Power Rough to put in a Hybrid as a cross with gut but with better tension maintenance and with no weird colours if possible hhaha I can not stand those red/green/orange colors I like something grey or black. I am not breaking the gut and my hybrid typically dies because the Alu loses half of the tension. Thanks.

Thanks for the video, was wondering what tension you have for the Luxilon 120 string to maximize comfort, for sure different tension will have different feeling. I got 125 at 50 pounds, hurt my wrist every time

Have you tried ALU Power 115? If so, what did you think of it?

Sorry I have not tried 115 yet. I'm worried that with a string that thin, I would lose the control necessary to attack returns and groundstrokes from the baseline. If you've tried it, I'd like to hear your opinion.

@@opencourt808 Yeah I have actually used the 115 in an 18x20 at 44 lbs. I don’t break strings and was interested in a more forgiving gauge of ALU. It was pretty good and more powerful than other thin polys but my string of choice is Solinco Confidential. For me it has the best combination of feel, pocketing, control and power.
