Very nostalgic and I still use a few MAC colours quite often: Soba / Patina / Soft Brown & Sable. Aren’t those new blushes just divine - finally a MAC collection with items I really like. 🦋🦋

Mandy-- yes- I love SABLE but I think I need a fresh one... my MAC needs to be refreshed because they are OLD!!! Sable is a MUST!!! I think I wore Brule, Cork and Sable.... or maybe it was Wedge. LOL! xoxo

I don’t have any mac shadows but I might need some. I think a really underrated MAC product is the cream color base. I have it in pearl and hush which I use as eye shadows and improper copper ( I think they discontinued it and a few other shades) on cheeks in summer. I remember twig.

In the early 90's, MAC was all I wore for eyeshadow and I most have gone trhough dozens of spice lip pencils. A few years back, I tried putting together a quad of MAC shadows but sadly, they just can't compare in color intensity and texture to Tom Ford, Chanel, Surratt or Dior. That said, today's look is very attractive.

Me too! I used to be a MACaholic too way back when... still got Twig somewhere... my favourite lippy was Whirl...loved that. I always loved Tan and Blue/Brown pigments...ooh and the lovely natural looking blush called Buff...and a more dramatic darker plum blush called Plumfoolery... oh and Peaches blush for a natural one too. Soft and Gentle powder was and still is beautiful. Loads of favs...must look at them again ...thanks Abby..Lindy xoxo

I never got into MAC. I had always been a Bobbi Brown gal for years. I stopped wearing the brand when I started getting reactions to some of the products and they discontinued many of my favorites. I know I sound like a broken record, but those shades are similar to my Clair Obscur quad. I actually hit pan on the lightest shade and need to find a similar shade. Love those neutrals.

Ahh where do I start? I love MAC paint pots, lipsticks honey love, blankety, modesty just to name a few. Lip pencils. In Stripdown, Spice and Oak and my favorite blush from years ago was Angel (the prettiest light pink).

I was an all Mac girl too! I still use some of their shadows such as, Cork, Malt, Wedge, several of the lip glasses, blushes in peaches,Warm Soul, Melba, a couple of lip liners and the giga extended play mascara for my lower lashes. Viva II a great combo with that longwear pencil, Those cheeks are starting to grow on me every time I watch you use them, the look nice. Bamboo, Soft Brown Brule, are definite staples and Groundwork Paintpot for sure LOVE !!

Great look Abby. Satin Taupe, Naked Lunch, and Soft Brown are just a few of my favorite colors. I still have a tube of Twig, Velvet Teddy, and many others. The only MAC product that I don't like is Fix Plus; it irritates my skin and my eyes. Hope you have a wonderful week.

I have some great MAC shadows. I should use those more. And Gigiblack Lash is my ultimate bottom lash mascara. I have a lot of their lipsticks too - some great colors I don’t reach for enough.

MAC makes me so nostalgic! It was the first higher-end makeup I really fell in love with. I still always have Spice lip pencil, Embark eyeshadow, Prism blush, Studio Fix Powder, blot powder and Fix+ in my collection at all times. They haven't really left my collection in 20 years! I'm so curious where you purchased MAC in the 80s. I thought it only became very popular in the 90s so I would love to know where you found it =)

It might have been early 90's -- I just sort of forget my age and lump everything into the 80's. I was living in Chicago after college and that would have been early 91- so I was buying my Mac at Marshall Field's! Love all your favorites. xoxo

Brun is one of my all time fave eyeshadows... unfortunately I dropped mine a while back and broke it... have to go get a new one! I also really loved Expensive Pink and used it quite a lot. Just used Carbon the other day as well. I would love to try the new blushes since I pretty much wear only cream blush/tint now as opposed to powder. When I was younger it was either MAC... or drugstore... or nothing for makeup lovers lol. Thanks for this Abby - new subscriber btw 😊

These are great basics Abby. I've been experimenting with more all matt shadows looks...my eyes protrude (at least I think they do!!) and a mid tone matt on the lid is suppose to make them recede. Of course I still love shimmer on the lid, but it does flatter my eyes going darker and matt on the mobile lid.

Jill- this is a total flashback look! AND yes- I used to wear the It CC forever - and am doing a video on my favorite BB/CC/Tinted Moisturizers and this will be included in it. It is a classic and is a great staple! It has more coverage than you think and it really perfects the skin. I'm having fun - playing with some Mac as well. It has been years!! xoxo
