I've always loved makeup, fashion and beauty and worked as a makeup artist while in school to make extra money...although that was many years ago now. So helpful! Not many videos go into details ie differences between goat and squirrel hairs. Very helpful to see similar brushes and have an explanation on how the small differences affect the finished product.

I love so many of the same brushes. Ever since i discovered Sonja Gs brushes it’s been a game changer in terms of achieving a beautiful blend. They are so aesthetically pleasing as well as ergonomically lovely to hold and work with. 💜 gorgeous tools! I also have several of the Chikuhodo gray squirrel brushes. They feel so luxurious on the skin.💖 that was interesting to hear what part of the goat the hair comes from. I didn’t know that! I have that broad Kazan eye brush too- love it! What a treat to use.

I also love and use my Sonia G and Wayne Goss brushes most, but I also have most of the Surrat brushes and use the medium eyeshadow everyday... how do the Surratt brushes (I think they're squirrel) compare to the Chikihudo Z series?

Great video. I own a lot of Hakuhodo, Tom Ford, both natural and synthetic and Wayne Goss, Westman-Atelier brushes...BUT...my all time favorite brushes are now Rae Morris..third generation. Not sure if you have done a video on them but they are spectacular. Rae Morris is in Australia...I have sensitive skin and these never irritate my skin. They see ship to US for free if purchase is over $100. Prices are listed in AUD but you swap to USD. The brushes are the finest Japanese brushes ever...my next fav is Westman -Atelier. My least favorite is Wayne Goss. Anyway, I’d be curious to hear your thoughts. Morris brushes have magnetic bases and they make great holders....check out her videos. I only found her because Wayne Goss discussed her brushes in his video...and boom...I jumped on her website. Cheers!💄🛍

Hey Jennifer, what do you think about the Hakuhodo line of brushes? I know they are extremely difficult to find, but I have heard through the years that they are the "cream of the crop", so to speak. I have Wayne Goss and Sonia G brushes and I've been tempted to purchase the Chikuhodo Z line of brushes, but I'd like to know your thoughts on Hakuhodo and Suqqu? Thank you for your videos....I've been a bit MIA lately because I am in the process of moving cross country....once I get settled, I will pick up with watching more videos. P.S. I love that you are an attorney that loves all things beauty.....:)

The smooth buffer and the face pro? I like them both but the face pro is bigger and better all over the face. If you’re just doing blush and highlighter I’d go with the smooth 😊
