Thank you to Fude Beauty for sending me the Koyudo Kakishibuzome set! One of the most beautifully, designed brushes I have ever encountered. We’re looking at 6 brushes: 3 face adn 3 eyes. I think the set is balanced out, but you can take on several tasks with the multitaskers like the 03 + 04. In this video, we’ll go over individual brush details, you’ll see several demos with each brush.

When it comes to beauty products, my biggest love and weakness is definitely fude brushes. I love so much your reviews on them, I always rely on them for buying my brushes. I didn't know that Fude Beauty existed before you talked about them. Because I have a very sensitive and mature skin, I prefer softer brushes. Now I have my eyes on some Chikuhodo Z, FO, KZ, and Makie brushes. The brushes in this video are beautiful though. And yes I have a special playlist with all your videos about brushes, not only fude but all the brushes, because with cream products I prefer to use synthetic brushes. And I forgot to mention how much your eye look is gorgeous 🤗😘

One question, for all over setting powder and blending, would you reach more for the chikuhodo z-1 or this Koyudo 02? And/or the same question with the z-9 and the koyudo 01? Or is it more a matter of softness levels?

Bought the powder one, trying to avoid looking at the rest because they might replace some fo my higher end brushes. My childhood cheek (I think it’s the Z4 as I bought it years ago) isn’t my favorite. I do feel like it started to shed after a while for me.

Thank you for reviewing these. I found the 5 piece set for sale on Mecari. They had been never used and washed once and on sale for a fantastic price. I was up in the air so watched this review. I bought my first Fude brushes a few weeks ago. I got the little pink set from Koyomo. If they're softer than those, I'm sorry but how can you tell. The koyomo are the lowest grade and are softer than a babies behind. At some point does the human brain register softer. LOL.

Hey Alicia, wow love these brushes. I’m just wondering how the kyodu SJ301 Compares to the 04 large shader.....obviously not handle length but bristle length, density and performance. That little SJ301 has become a firm favourite in my huge stash it’s amazing for laying down shimmer shadows and I need to thank you for “making me buy it” lol. Great review, thank you xo

Was seriously thinking about purchasing the cheek brush (03) & had hoped to use it for slightly more difficult to pick-up blushes & perhaps a cream blush or two but if this series isn’t supposed to be used for creams at all, I now wonder if if that’s the right decision (or not). Typically, if I use creams of any type, I’ll wash the brush immediately after.....unlike powders, where I wash my natural hair brushes more infrequently but don’t know if that would impact their potential use for creams.

Thank you, Derrick! 🙆🏽‍♀️ The Premium line is softer, and I absolutely love the shorter handles. The shadow brushes differ slightly from the K line, as the P series ones are a touch longer, and maybe more adaptable to blend through the kiss. I think this might be a Patreon video idea!

My favorite brush for "one brush looks" is the RT 200. It is like a flat shader but tapers down on one side and comes to a nice rounded point. I would love a high end version of this shape.
