Also another great author and Australian memory champion / anthropology to read is Lynne Kelly and a great book: Memory Craft. She documents about 30 or more different memory techniques and what they’re best for. Also how they were used across human history across the globe by natives both before writing and after writing. She experiments with the techniques herself and explains her process so she’s literally teaching you by example. It’s so inspiring to see how memory champions lay the groundwork for people after them to use these wonderful techniques. It’s so important the tools Nelson created Memory League & art of memory, and things like what Lynne does. Love this community.

I've started my memory training journey when I watched the show mentalist and then I started exploring the World of mnemonics it's just great I've covered all the basics and fundamentals and have a pretty good knowledge📚 but I want to start teaching and spread the knowledge about the fantastic and fun techniques of memory so I'm thinking🤔💭 about street interviews and workshops in schools🏫 and college🎓 teaching students👩🎓 about it How is this idea💡and I think I can use it as a great side hustle too

Let me know if you get the 69th comment ...no reason. I just wanna become a memory champion because it is something many people have not hear of but we need to share videos like this one cuz it might revolutionize tje education systems around the world and as a result solve problems like health care , global warming and low income or even unemployment...people underestimate the potential in the young generations . Teaching them these methods the improvements that follow will be exponential ..peace

just a tip, I had the same problem and finally I overcomed it by doing this: I chosed a flat that I used to live in wich has 11 distinct rooms. each room has 4 distinct walls. I identified a singular object for each wall and then assigned a card on each object. 1st Rule: each room is a unique number (example: bathroom = number 7) 2nd rule: you enter on each room clockwise and always follow the same stricture (example: 1st wall object= hearts, 2nd wall = diamonds….). Then if you want to remember wich image was the one that corresponds to 7dimonds…. you just think about the object that is in the second wall of the bathroom and the image instantly pops up. in my case Kobe Bryant, Smash, Basket ( also notice that K sound = 7 and diamonds = rich.) P.D: I am assuming you already assigned a person, action, object on each card.
