Guild Wars 2 is my favorite MMO to play. As clearly outlined in this lovely video, the gorgeous landscapes and attention to detail are so amazing when you take the time to stop and admire it all. Been playing since launch and was so excited for the End of Dragons expansion and the fishing is the slow and quiet gameplay I enjoy from time to time to take a minute from the business of real life. I never managed to really get into GW2 for lack of time reasons and poor optimization. Maybe I will just habe to give it another try!

The core game is free these days, so it's worth giving it another shot! It's very casual-friendly, easy to take a break from and come back to, or just hop into for a few mins each day. Solo-friendly too. As for performance, it still struggles in huge group battles, but modern hardware and the DX11 mode they've added definitely help smooth it out in all but the worst parts.

The game has improved a lot over the years. The core game is free to play, so it's worth checking out again to see if it grabs you this time!

is there actually any single player story content after the main story ? 🤔

TONS of content after the main story. I'm assuming by main story, you mean all the expansions and Living World storyline. Beyond that, there are zillions of achievements and collections to go for, many of which reward unique skins or titles. There are legendary items to work towards, mounts to unlock, map completion, festivals...tons of stuff.

@@theASMRnerd thaanks, I did, definitely going to use it to sleep tonight. Btw, Guild Wars is so beautiful, I have never played it but from your videos it seems great for ASMR. One game I have played and I think would be good for ASMR too (if you mostly do exploration) is Monster Hunter World, I would love it if you made a video playing it one day.

For sure, it would be great if they brought it to consoles! Controls might be a bit tricky, but if FF14 and ESO can do it, I don't see why GW2 couldn't make it work.

@@theASMRnerd yeah. I play a good bit of ESO I wish they would do something similar to what you talk about in this video. The co-op mounts look so sweet. The boats to go out fishing on and that big siege turtle sound like so much fun. Wish eso had that.
