As a Cubs fan, at least the moment happened in the run! Edit: I guess looking back, that moment kind of set the tone, just being the first game of that whole postseason run. I'd almost relate it to Schwarbers homer in G4 of the 2015 NLDS, just being such a monumental "We're here now, and this is what we're made of" kind of moment.

I've watched that homerun a bunch of times and I wish they had 4k or something back then, I think you can see a white blur go over the second wall but the people in the stands are trying to jump over the barriers further back than that, almost at the scoreboard. I don't know how large the drop-off is right there but I personally don't recommend doing that, as that is a good way to get kicked out of the game.
@amonrodriguez35187 ай бұрын
@@mostlytrue3150 it’s a big drop lol. Now they don’t even have grass there, I think to discourage jumping down. It’s grass on the visible part that you see on tv but at a game last season I got there early and Greinke was out in right center under hand tossing to his son. Most of them landed down there and I wasn’t about to get thrown out before the game even started lol. but we were able to grab a couple souvenirs. I would have asked for an autograph or something because he’s my favorite player of all time growing up. But guys with his kid so changed my mind. @amonrodriguez3518 I agree with you on that, I don't know how you could be anyone but like Carlos Quentin and not like greinke, there are so many anecdotes and funny stories about some of the things he's done. I think my favorite one was I guess when he played with the dodgers, yasiel puig had a tendency to show up late and I guess one day greinke had enough and so he grabbed puigs bag, got off the bus and threw it in the middle of the street and then just went back to his spot like nothing had happened. That and winning a Cy young with possibly the worst team anyone has ever won a Cy young with (I haven't looked up the metrics but the royals were so terrible the year he won the Cy young with them it's criminal).
