When moving back to the Houston area, I knew I wanted a new home in a convenient location with a ton of amenities. Grand Central Park is located in Conroe Texas where Camp Strake used to be located, a boy scout camp with tons of amazing nature. Now this 2,054 acre community has every amenity imaginable. Both are great. I choose CGP for the location and being closer to commercial amenities. Aside from that, they are very comparable.

Do they still have new construction Westin homes in Grand Central Park thinking of moving there beginning of 2025. I am interested in Conroe and Katy, TX. I love Westin homes

Yea they do still have Westin building out here, I live in one and like it a lot. Be sure to reach out and I can tell you when they will most likely stop building and what size lots they are building on

I love nature as well. Are there alligators in lake ? Can you swim during summer without issues ? What about private schools for kids?

Nice neighborhood but the school rankings are lower than we’d like. Does Katy (Cane Island) have better value since the you get the better schools and still get new construction?

Values will be similar, the school ranking for Grand Central Park don’t necessarily line up with the positive experiences I have heard from parents who have kids there. I think both are great options. Happy to have a team member reach out and explain the differences.

Who has the lowest taxes between GCP and The Woodlands? How is The Woodlands Hills, is that part of The Woodlands?

The woodlands hills is not part of the woodlands, it is however developed by the same developer, Howard Hughes. I believe the GCP tax rate is slightly lower
