Davao has the Infrastructure...Accessibility wherever you are in Davao City! ..You have the Cosmopolitan Lifestyle yet the Beaches, the Island Life is just 30 minutes away!...Circumferential Coastal Roads spans the both ends of the City easing out traffic!.. Davaoen̈os are very accomodating and friendly just as Pinoys are!❤

There a few big factors when deciding, if u are older and need medications and a decent hospital then the city is best for you. The further u get away from the city then u might not be able to find your medication, or possible get fake or low dose medication. The healthcare outside the city is scary, i have heard and seen horror stories of foreigners in dirty hospitals and bad care, and from personal experiences. If u are young, then u can risk living in the provinces if healthy,,,,The other is how much money each month u have to spend, of course the farther from the city the less expensive. But u can have the noise, mosquitos, and not a big variety of food choices.

Both City Its Nice but they are different Law and Beauty. I love in davao because of 911 emergency just happen to you just minutes they help you.

My Filipina girlfriend and I had a conversation about where to live. She opted/suggested the town where her parents live. I said no. Why? Because I already experienced that people living there barged in whenever they liked without prior notice. So, I suggested the outskirts of Cebu City (a 1,5 hrs (67 km) bus drive from her parents' home). Close to the airport, close to a big city.

Too much traffic on Cebu and too humid. Try Central Luzon.

Go to Tagaytay or Nuvali. Tagaytay has beautiful mountain ridges, good restaurants and best of all, cool weather. Cebu is just too hot and humid. That's the problem with smaller land mass areas. Cebu is a nice to visit as Bohol. However the heat index wipes one out.

I've learned that Davao is considered very safe, possibly the safest Philippine city. How about the separatist terrorists on that island, do they not have a presence in Davao?

Do you find more beggars in Davao City? vs Cebu? I have spent time in all 3 but Cebu's it's been about 12 years, I enjoy Manila. Davao is too boring for me.

I find more in Cebu city compared to Davao City. I really can understand why Davao would be too boring for you though I really enjoyed my time living there. I also like Manila.
