Can't wait to go back and retire in the Philippines ❤. US has changed a lot since I moved here 25 years ago.

Well done man. I'm making the move at the end of this year. Just had a month there exploring and feeling the place. Hopefully see you there soon!

Life is full of compromises. The good thing is you get to choose what those are. There’s no such thing as perfect….but if you find a place that just makes you feel happy then that’s pretty close to perfect.

Interesting video. I like to hear about the journeys people end up on. I think you will be fine anywhere you go. You seem to have a level-headed view of the world.

I think you right! The Philippines will deliver a great place to be now and years from now.

Thanks for this earnest video. I didn't realize you lived Down Under for a decade. I'm sure that story is interesting too.

You made a statement about taking time to get to know people. My question is would you cover that subject? What life's lessons did you learn interacting with the Filipino culture? How does their kindness and social interaction present themselves? Because of their kindness does one assume they are honest and ethical, when in fact they may not be? Would you explain further?

Life is what you make it .. Having spent time in the military, going to different places - some good, some bad - if you don't at least try, you will be miserable. I have a second home in the PI (province) and am working on making life there full time with an occasional visit back to the US. Thanks for the video.

You're the first foreigner that didn't mention anything about the women here. 🤔. You're either a monk, or hiding something or missing out. I'm here mainly because of my beautiful Asawa. True beauty inside and out. Couldn't find it anywhere else.

I’m neither a monk nor missing out 😏

I'm personally surprised you're in the Philippines. I would have expected you to stay in California or select somewhere in Mexico near California as a getaway place. Even Cebu is chaotic. If choosing the Philippines. The weather especially in Cebu compared to Tagaytay or Baguio must be horrendous. Best of luck. I give you 5 years and you'll be back in the States.😅

Being in the Philippines for close to 3-4 years (from late 2009 till late 2012) AND doing my own (desk & field) research into the Philippines' culture (and laws) I dare to say that I know a lot. But do I understand it? No, not at all. Examples: - respect goes both ways, right? Well, not in the Philippines, where younger people have to do the mano to older people and to parents. Even when those older people have achieved nothing in life. - 'Utang na loob': does that work? No, it doesnt work - the noise pollution in PH is aweful and terrible - The education/schools are also terrible when it comes to high standard quality curriculum. They even have a class 'livelyhood'.

Depends on your location. If you are in a shitty place in the Philippines, you will not have good impressions. I think it's better if you include locations and social strata in your research.

ALL YOU TALK ABOUT IS YOUR BUSINESSES. STOP FLEXING MY MAN TALK ABOUT PH
@roselee444512 сағат бұрын
Catallfamily... obviously you didn't listen completely. He talked a lot about Philippines. What, you want only about meeting women perchance? He didn't flex. Lots of people interested in opening business in PI. He touched on that a bit too. What is it you want to hear about? Seriously?
@flimosnl78178 сағат бұрын
I think it was just about 3-4 min max that he talked about his business, his video is about 11minutes long and I did not have the impression that he is "flexing" his business. It's also important that he discuss about his business to understand the context of his topic. Are you having a bad day or what? Cheer up man.
