Togekiss from OBF lets you draw up to 8 after your attack. You could almost justify having a little togepi support line in a rare candy deck to do draw support and prize boost.

Been thinking of a way to use Tatsugiri ex...and I think I figured a funny list that also could utilize the Fire, Water and Dark Energies... Tatsugiri Tera Toolbox: Cinderace ex (Fire Tera), Greninja ex (Fighting Tera), Charizard ex (Dark Tera), Skeledirge ex (Steel Tera) Since they are all Stage 2s, you could use the Neo Upper Energy as the Ace Spec to build a quick Stage 2, Penny the Tatsu (if it doesn't get KO'd) and just go to town Crispin, Earthen Vessel, Magma Basin, and you could potentially fuel all of them pretty quick! You could also cheat in Pidgeot to get more consistency and if you're feeling a little spicy you could cheat in Dusknoir

@@isoldmymumforrp5371130 to 3 Pokémon can threaten game in 2 turns even at 6 prizes remaining. U’ll most likely always be coming from behind with this deck too so counter catcher defiance band ect will always be at your disposal and never at your opponents. Add on Dusknoir too and sheeesh this deck can blow up a board. Not saying this deck will be top tier, but it’s definitely a solid pick and can do something most decks can’t. Way better than be another 2/4/6 prize trade deck that’s worse than all the others.

Hydreigon ex is completely broken with Ciphermaniac and Hydreigon from Paldea Evolved (has that Tri Howl Ability which lets you look at the top 3 cards of your deck and attach any Energies among those 3 cards to any of your Pokemon). use Ciphermaniac to get Neo Upper Energy and Basic Darkness Energy, Tri Howl to get those 2 cards onto your Hydreigon ex, and then attach a Basic Energy for turn, and now you're charging up Obsidian in a single turn. no wonder they put the attack behind a 4 energy cost.

I am very curious about tatsugiri. You can potentially fill your bench with stage 2s for one attack. When creating a deck you expect to pay 2 prizes for 2 stage pokemon to get set up or you’re using Sqwauk ex. Powering up the attack will be the biggest issue. Is it energy sticker time?

As much as I love tatsugiri, it's not likely to be powered up the first turn going second and that would be the best time to use that attack. The energy cost just doesn't fit in any deck that would be able to utilize it well.

I really want to try to pull off something using archaludon ex with a rigid band, fullmetal lab and jasmine... a pokemon with 300 hp, no weakness, taking -90 from attacks, also could make something silly like an orthworm ex with deluxe bomb stick around longer than it should

I honestly think turn 2 hydreigon is not that unlikely. With crystal attached, it becomes "3 energy, which cant all be the same colour" With a colourless focused engine (bibarels & pidgeots) you can use glass trumpet and energy switch fairly aggressively

There is another milotic card that says each player places a basic pokemon from their discard pile onto their bench upon evolving. It isn't very good per se but it might be another bit of useful tech in decks that play milotic ex.

I hope they give us a mon, like a snorlax or something, that fetches berries from the discard. There was the snorlax that did it with leftovers, would definitely make berries a heck of a lot more viable.

slaking is really good in the terapagos deck to hit heavy and also bouffalaunt boosts the hp to 400 and also a colourless and can use glass trumpet

The Slaking is actually pretty interesting for control. Imagine you’re playing against ancient box and trap a Radiant Greninja with wellspring Ogerpon or Mawile or something. Their only way out js to use Pecharunt ex to bring up a baby moon, but in that case you can just use Slaking

Honestly not sure crystal is the move on hydreigon, on dragapult it makes sense cause your big attack only takes 2 energy but for hydreigon the realistic odds of attacking turn 2 with obsidian are so low it seems like a waste. Plus it’s first attack is still good damage and far easier to power up than pult. I’m wondering if maybe the move is actually neo upper energy to make it easier to power up obsidian

I mean, you can attack with 200 first and then Crispin the next turn to KO the active and snipe 2 on the bench, can potentially take up to 4 prizes in 2 turns.
