My Favorite PSVR2 Games

For anyone reading the comments looking for more, Compound is about to release for PSVR2, I really suggest checking it out, it's my 2nd most played game on Oculus Rift, first one being Half Life Alyx. It's a roguelike shooter with a killer retro wave atmosphere.

I first owned Thumper on the PSVR1 and it's so good I re-purchased it on Steam for the Vive Pro. Excellent game.

I went in totally blind and got the psvr1 and aim controller it was amazing! My first experience was ocean descent, I tortured many people with it, telling them that there were only friendly fishies down there 🤭

Thinking about picking up a PSVR2 for our VR arcade in Joplin (Pennington Station) would love to get some advice from you on it!

Personally, I think there would be two challenges with using PSVR2 in an arcade: 1. The sweet spot is super small and so I think getting people to wear it properly would possibly need time and attention for each player to wear it right. 2. Getting spare parts for the device would be difficult in a high use environment like an arcade. Currently I’m not aware of any way to get spare cords or spare controllers if either of those breaks. The lack of spare parts would probably be the biggest headache in running an arcade. I think 😁

I think you are spot on, it doesn't make sense as a general access thing, but I am considering it as an option for a more exclusive option, deep down though, I know I want to remove barriers for people trying new stuff not add them, so its... frustrating. A hard decision but a fun one ;-)

Heh I have thumper on quest 2 but dam when I got to the part where a gate literally tells you that you can't miss a beat appear I was on a rough ride idk what level I stopped on
