3S has blurry fresnel lenses, you would be better off with a Q3 with the much clearer pancake lenses.

I'd recommend a refurbished quest 3 152gb personally. From what I've heard 3s is just a better 2, but worse than regular 3.

In the Quest 3, do the lenses adjust to cater for people with poor vision, or do wear your normal glasses?

You can adjust the distance of the depth of the visor shroud to hold the visor further from your face which allows you to wear your glasses as normal. I believe it's possible to purchase prescription lenses which clip onto the Q3's lenses so you can use it more comfortably without your glasses, but do your own research on these.

A cautionary tale for current and prospective Meta Quest VR headset owners: I'm on day 27 of Meta holding my Quest headsets hostage. I've been using Oculus/Quest devices from the day they started making them (10 years ago?), and I have not been required to give my date of birth to Meta in all this time. But they recently demanded my DOB under threat of disabling my Quests, and they made good on that threat 27 days ago. Meta can metaphorically brick your headsets, any time they want, and for any reason they want, and you will have no defense against it.

Can Anybody help me ? I have 71 installed. All looks good besides I do not have new UI set up ( looks like before) , No Volume mixer, no calendar. I have few updates to UI like shortcut for meta link . I have checked few times and I have 71 installed. Also Im in dev mode to run Game optimaizer ( the newest version is installed 11.1). So Im wondering, may be meta made it look different depends of location? I live in EU . Any ideas?

The quest 3 was a mid disappointment for me. Its a great headset but definitely not living up to the hype I thought it would. When are we gonna get oled screens and a head strap that doesn't suck. Black is grey, major light bleed. Hand tracking works 70% of the time maybe more, its not bad also not good.. if its a first vr and you dont have a 3k+ pc i recommend

Oled screens are SUPER expensive so we might not get them for a while. (The hype of insane graphics is also a bit exaggerated) but for the head strap? No Exuse for it. But overall it’s good for first time Vr users.
