I know everyone has there own preferences but I do like me some nitro. The power to weight and power per cc is just so much better than gas.

Awesome video..., those nitro planes will never die, so realistic flights the noise, the engineering behind it, so cool, one day hope I could get one.

I like that plane, still something about a gasser I guess. Electric has its perks and is generally great, however I'll always love the sound and feel of liquid fueled. I wouldn't give up my ugly stik or Tiger Moth that's in process. Hope the kit gets a good home. Thanx for the content.

I agree! I want to build a mid star but SIG doesn’t stock anything anymore 😂

@@mbmrc5241 I'm sure they'll come back they are just out right now. Covid has been very good to the hobby industry. But now we are getting to the part where everyone is out of stock and trying to catch up.
@thercbarn50013 жыл бұрын
Have you tried calling? They will usually have stock on hand. The website sucks. I recommend calling when you need something.

Nice videos guys! On your most recent video you talk about future ideas for videos. I would love a video going over radio and servo installations including the control rods. I'm sure I could pick up some tips from you!

Great video. Thanks for sharing. Did you switch from Futaba to Spektrum? If yes, what was the reason?
@mbmrc52413 жыл бұрын
I personally have, my brother and father still fly Futaba and will most likely continue to. I prefer the Spektrum ecosystem. They’re far more user friendly. And frankly the fact that Futaba has 4 protocols and only has 2 radios that work with all 4 (which both are well over 800 bucks.) they do have a reliable link and fair quality.

Nitro is expensive but I still love the old buzz compared to electric. Hope I win that and you guys reach 1k subs

I really think you guys need to invest in a microphone. I really want to hear the conversations but the audio is lacking.

Nice job, there is a difference between hobby planes and toys, I’m sorry go to the field nowadays and it’s looks like a toy store, if you’re plane comes in a a colorful box and you add a battery ITS A TOY
@MrMartinRome3 жыл бұрын
Nice airplane. You asked for suggestions for the channel. I think the problem with increasing your subscriber base is that people fly electric 10 to 1 over gas. I have been flying for years and I have never flown anything but electric.
@robertcovell27873 жыл бұрын
That's not what these guys are about. I agree that electric is reliable and convenient but there some of us dinosaurs who like to wax nostalgic. The sad truth is that most people have no clue what to do with an IC engine. K&B got a bad rap because people didn't know how to tune a Perry carb, but K&B's are one of the finest engines ever made ang Perry carbs are ingenious. These guys are keeping that tradition alive and kudos to them
@MrMartinRome3 жыл бұрын
@@robertcovell2787 yes, understood, but if they want to build a subscriber base they will have a tough go.

Thanks Marty Rome, we actually have quite a few electric planes. But they’re all over KZbin! I do appreciate the response and I’ll probably be posting some electric videos!
@RC-Flight2 жыл бұрын
I fly both, but much prefer glow and gas. I have been flying since the 80s and started electric on 2002. it’s about 50/50 at out club half fly electric half fly glow and gasoline.
