As far as I understand from Peter’s analysis, in Gaston, all of the singing parts are the guys and any of the spoken background lines have additional female voices (two of their girlfriends, if I remember correctly). So that particular singing line that you asked about in the higher register was just the boys. 😊

I found Peter's analyses of all four of the Bass Gang songs to be not only super interesting, but also very helpful. After listening to Peter's analyses, I enjoy listening to the songs even more! It must have been so much fun to do these.

9:27 F5 falsetto looks effortless? 12:22 he goes up to an A4 mix (might be me but sounds so chesty) and same for 12:36 That was a D5 mix at 13:18!!
