You can also book a ticket on Expedia, print off the itinerary and then cancel the flight within 24 hours. I use this all the time to show customs and they have never been able to check whether the flight was legitimate.

jordan, I've been following you for almost 2 years now, I've seen almost every video you've posted. You've got a great personality and always have an inviting smile on your face. Your videos are always real and informative. I just booked a flight to Thailand for my first "open-ended" solo travel. When I first started looking into travel, I found there is so much info to sort through , but somehow I stumbled upon you and Poppy's videos. I never write KZbin comments, but I feel the need to show my appreciation. Thanks for being so inspiring and open to new experiences, it's helped me to question who I am and what I'm doing. I just wanted to say thanks and keep doing what ur doin. Thanks P.S. Ur my idol

You are so right about the price of a flight going up once google knows what you are looking for. It has happened to me plenty of times. I learned to never click on a flight until I'm actually ready to book it. Also, I type in fake dates to throw them off. I love your incognito suggestion and will do that next time. Thanks!

I am Chinese and I highly recommend going to the southwestern part of China. There are two very large cities, Chengdu and Chongqing. Chengdu is very modern and beautiful, and the giant panda is the business card there. Chongqing is a magical three-dimensional city, you will be surprised by it, where the food is very rich, and it is the hometown of hot pot!

Great tips.. I'm planning on Europe either this summer or fall.. I'll definitely use some of those tricks. I like the Fragile thing.
@Travellight216 жыл бұрын
Great! Also I had this in the video, but cut it for time, and since it's specific to Europe: If you're headed to Europe, don't bother looking for your specific destination with flights. Just get to Europe in general - it doesn't matter which country! Whatever is cheapest. From whatever country that ends up being, you can get a separate flight. Flights within Europe are so cheap, it's crazy. I've gotten a flight to another country out of Spain for $4, and then went and spent twice that on a bag of pretzels. Of course, some people might decide they just want a direct flight, but this could be a creative way to throw in an unexpected Europe destination!

Have you ever heard of homestays.com? From what I have read you can stay in someone's home with them and their families for a fee of course they even give good monthly rates. I do love your videos. Have ever been a TEFL teacher or ESL teacher before? I am getting ready to start a training program that would allow me to live and teach abroad. I am getting my Hiset which is a high school equivalency. I am also getting tefl certified. I also read a hack on how to get a bachelor's degree in 4 weeks. It's basically taking exams from Dantes and Clep as well from a few colleges in the USA that have testing options to get your diploma that are fully accredited.

But the most important hack that you skipped is about how to bear the expenses of travelling. Bcz you don't only have to arrive at some place but have to explore it too so how could one afford all that. At least you could tell how do you do it yourself? Do you avail sponsorship from certain companies or what?
