Interesting but is it even required or warranted. I see soooooo many people upgrading, enhancing and modifying when the benefits are nil and aftermarket parts can compromise the overall function(s) of the vehicle.

Yeah I just slide my 1 ton wide pump jack it's got a little bracket on it that goes out about 16 in and it curves you can just roll the tire on to it Jack it up a few notches and slip the tire on that you know I guess if you didn't have one of those you have to do the old butt on the ground and the leg trick

Now that the truck is lifted I would try to discourage your dogs from jumping off the tailgate or from inside the cab to the ground. The Vet said that my dog's joint issues were from repeated jumps from too high onto concrete or asphalt. My poor puppers suffered in the last few years of her life! I don't want to see that for RV or Camper. Like you, I took mine everywhere and it wasn't uncommon for her to be jumping multiple times a day.

Agreed my lab has severe arthritis from jumping in and out the back of the truck. It was something I never even thought about. Now she is pain daily even on meds. Talks of Phd have been in the talks. She is only 10

Stance looks great on the 350. After some off roading on some trails more than a gravel road maybe an update on how the suspension and tires work. Tread Lightly, I understand it was a video for dramatic effect. You show great care in nature in regards to leaving pristine and in better condition than when you arrived. The off roading community has worked hard to educate people on how to drive on public land.If the video was shot on private property then disregard my admonition.

Congrats on the upgrades. Yeah my Jeep is inside the shop replacing the struts and sway bars links. But I go with the wild peak tires and have them siped, so that theirs more rubber on the road during icy conditions. I worked at a tire shop back in the 90’s where I did split rims and widow makers and semi truck tires and 4 wheel drive trucks. Yeah sitting and using your knees to lift to the lug nuts is spot on. Oh and the donuts were kinda weak. Come to wash state and I’ll show ya how to do donuts…lol jk. Congrats on the upgrades😀

I've driven heavy trucks for years. Don't use your legs as he showed you. Get two tire irons, place them under the tire, and use leverage. I can easily mount a 500#+ tire by myself. I currently drive a semi daily.

Your limiting strap doesn't keep your shocks from bottoming out, they keep your axel from full droop and keeps coil springs from coming out of their pockets as well as keeping your shocks from getting to full extension where they could actually damage the seals.

Never tighten up your components until vehicle is on the ground with the hight on it. That way all the bushings are at a normal position. No stress on the rubber busting.

Make sure you record exact measurements for everything adjustable so you can reproduce the settings anywhere you might need to. Also keep any special tools required in the truck. I've had the jam nuts on my coilovers come lose, with a corner of my car slowly working lower and lower while I was on a trip - and fixed them with basic tools in a walmart parking lot. I hadn't *planned* for it, I was just lucky I had stuffed the wrenches for the coilovers in the glovebox and recorded all of the settings in a google doc. Now I plan for it.
