I started with the Lamy but when I bought my TWSBI Eco I discovered I like it so much better for several reasons: The first and foremost is that it never dries out. I think this is partly because of the twist cap which I agree can be annoying but I am willing to deal with that for a pen that doesn't dry out. The second reason is that it has such a big ink reservoir so you refill it less often. The third reason is how smooth the nib flows over the page. Love mine.

Best thing about TWSBI is that they never dry out! I've had ink in one of mine for years and it writes every time. They can also handle pigment ink without getting clogged, which is so fab! I have not had the same success with Lamy.

Agreed, mine hasn’t had any issues! It’s fab 😊

I have Lamy Safari's and AL's, but I want to get this one next because of the large volume of ink. It gets a lot of good reviews. I'm planning on having it dedicated for purple - violet ink - at least for a while.

I've never tried drawing with any kind of pen, but I'd like to try in the future. I really like the style 😊

I have been using a Kaweco Sport to take out and about for urban sketching because it is nice and compact! I re-use the plastic cartridge that came with the pen and re-fill it with brown ink using a syringe. I just pop the cartridge back in the pen and it's ready to go again! I have not tried a twist/piston converter, but I have one on my wishlist... :D

Ooh I’ve not heard of that, I should give it a go!

@@JosieViolet They are super cute and convenient, and the plastic ones are reasonably priced. There are also more expensive metal-body pens but I have not tried those!

Hello Josie, I absolutely love my BAMF fountainpen with flexible zebra G nib from Desideratapens, love it, love it, love it. I can’t get enough of it!

Good pen, nice ink flow and adequate capacity for ink, but delicate, it usually breaks. I prefer Opus 88 for drawing even if they are filled by eyedropper.

Does the twsbi block if the ink is left in for a long time

I used kaweco sport + sketch ink and it’s not bad but TWSBI looks pretty good with transparent body. Thank you for this lovely video 💕💕💕

I agree, this is a great pen. I have one and it just performs so well I have not even thought about switching to a different brand. Looking forward to more content from you. Hopefully you have taken some time to recharge and have new videos on the way! :)

I prefer really slim, cylindrical, metal, flush-posting pens, my very favorite being the Lamy CP1.

I do pencil sketching but want to try this loose style. Also working on watercolor painting as well. What size Twsbi nib should I start with?

Fine is a good choice to start off with!
