Hey, y’all. So… I’ve been gone for a while ‘cause this channel has been giving me a lot of anxiety and I’ve been really busy with school and mental health stuff. Also, recently, I got into glee again, and I wanted to make glee fan videos (or at least one). At first, my plan was to just start over and create a brand new KZbin channel, ‘cause I figured y’all wouldn’t be interested in anything other than Starkid/TCB. Then I realised that a. that’d be annoying as hell cause I use this google account for personal stuff and watching KZbin so I’d need to keep logging in and out, and b. it’s my channel and I can post whatever I want. So here we are posting a glee ranking video in the year of our Lord and saviour satan, whomst is a real man, 2021. He gave it more emotion than will but will sang it better. Even in this short clip it showed how wills voice was just smoother and more in tune the entire time. So it makes sense from anyone trying to cast. You can always force out more emotion, but not better technique and talent

Kurt’s cover of Rose’s Turn still gives me chills, it’s forever my favorite solo of his and my favorite solo from any character in season 1. I personally would’ve ranked it higher than Somebody To Love, but I think season 1 had some incredible performances that make it really hard to choose from.

ok, I agree with a lot of the comments saying "where's this song, why didn't you put this one in here" but the one song I didn't see anyone mention that I think really deserves to be on this list is my absolute favorite original song, 'color blind' the backstory of it, Amber's voice, all the emotion... it was so heartbreaking, but I've of my all time favorites from the entire show. I know this list is purely your opinion, but that song is, once again, completely heartbreaking and beautiful.

You’re right. I just got the info that was on the Wikipedia list for glee songs, where it says originally performed by Fleetwood Mac AND Dixie Chicks. So I interpreted that as meaning both at the same time (cause I’ve never heard of the song outside Glee) but I’m realising now it might’ve just meant that Glee did a cover of a Dixie Chicks cover of the Fleetwood Mac song? Idk, regardless, I looked it up now and you’re right it’s originally just a Fleetwood Mac song, so my bad.

The Glee one is a little closer to the Dixie Chicks rendition because it's on acoustic guitar, but both the Fleetwood Mac and Dixie Chicks versions are pretty similar overall. Just thought I'd note I for people perusing the comments. I recommend checking out the Fleetwood Mac version. 😊
