Love the way you shared your thoughts on the lyrics as well. I think it's an amazing posture to do that in a poetic song like this. This song left me dumbfounded for 30 minutes after the first listen. No wonder you were silent for 5 minutes after that.

It is so amazing to find other people with the same music taste... but specially for Starset, not everyone catches nor comprehends the lyrics. I love how you analyze them and let yourself feel them instead of just "listening to another rock song". There's something very special about Starset, from their unique musical structure that give you that astronomical feeling, to the way it depicts love as something real, pure; as a path to grow on with yourself or other person, unlike society's standards of it. Especially for me, I have always been a cold person, since I always knew interpersonal relationships, whether it's a friendship, family or a couple, they require sacrifice, time, and effort, but they can also be very painful, and I always ran away from pain. A person came into my life and I didn't know how to express my feelings, because 1. I tried to ignore the fact I was feeling something and 2. I didn't want to open up, get attached and then disappoint myself. When I heard this song for the first time It immediately hit so close home. I had so many walls that this other person couldn't break, but I am the one that needs to want them broken and let people in. Unfortunately I'll have to take another chance, because this one is a "point of no return"; if you know what I mean ha. My favorite lyrics from this song are "All these broken souls, each one more beautiful; They don't, they don't know my heart" There are so many people who are many amazing things, but to find one that truly resonates with you at the same frequency is a whole different dimension. Really amazing reactions, simple, but full of thought and emotion. I also really like when you move your head along the rhythm haha You gained a new sub:D

This is, in my opinion, one of the most powerful songs ever made. The atmosphere, the instruments, the way his voice screams is like a loved one in deep regret or loss begging for their other half to come back, the imagary. It's easily my favorite Starset song

This song really hit me hard when I first heard it, I didn't know the words so I kept listening to it, the more I listened the harder it hit. Then I watched the video and it made more sense, how often we lose the ones we love and we don't miss them till they are gone and there is no replacing them.... pain and loss are things that teach us the reasons to live for, and helps you appreciate what you have still. Loss is a natural thing we all go through, and like you said with out that kind of pain we would only find everything to be mundane or repetitive... nothing would be gained in the end.

Trust me bro, I felt the same way you do about the song, besides the Black Mirror thing. The way he words the song almost makes me cry every time I listen. It reminds me of my relationship mistakes and this song is my way of dealing with it. That and the new song Annihilated Love. You should try that one
