I hate the Nordschleife with a passion. 😁 Did three races, in one I was last and 2 minutes behind. Still 5th place though. 🫡 Second one I was in the pits and forgot i switched cars and had no wet or intermediates. 😂 --> quit. Third one I tried a no stop strategy and it can be done if you short shift (Porsche) finished last (ninth this time) but 2 min 35 behind the leader...🤪 If I retract all the time I spend getting back on the track again I would finish first place with 30 seconds head start. (And then wake up from a fever dream, screaming) Love this track. And hate it. But it's brilliant, and sucks heavily. Needs more rain. Had only one with rain had the perfect strategy rain had just started when I approached the pits, would have been so much fun. 😂 In my defense this is the first time I actually race on the track, the circuit experiebce and such I did years ago at launch so it's the first time in 2 years i drive it.

Got a 3rd place last night on Nurburgring, driving the rental Ferrari. It stayed dry the whole time, and i only had to pit once for fuel. Was my second run at it. Thats my highest finish on Sport mode yet!

Yeah finally a daily race with a decent length would be better is the other 2 were slightly longer tho:- Race a 15/20 mins Race b 30/35 Race c 45/1hr Lets hope they learn from this. Nicely raced sir and love that you put in the good and the bad

The Daily Race was a bit of exhausting - been long ago since i did such an endurance race but it was also my first endurance one on nurburgring and oh well it did go fantastic, started P6 due to Qualification time as i just made to set an average one and race started but i had a leader with 8.07 lap time even tho i was used as boxing pad on first corners from others and stop brick we were battling pretty good all the time and the end i was overtaking him all the time but when rain came in the end i was leading with 56 seconds and took P1 and the victory first try in daily race C. I do recommend tho the endurance M3 as it really takes it as a champ in the rain very satisfied.

You want a good Race A. Engine swapped Widebody Beetles with a pre set tune, lower power setting (230hp), but Sticky ish tires (Sports). Any smaller smooth circuit works, Brands Hatch included.

A question for you Tidge, since you have the stats: How long has it been since they've ran the not-very-fun fuelsaver race C template? You know the one, where it's RM+RH, with RH mandatory, but it's x1 tyres so nobody ever did the one-stop in favour of a fuelsaving 0-stop. I feel like it's been quite a while now. (Sorry to everyone if I've jinxed it by asking and they put it in next week!)

issue with daily C is the small grid in gt7, a lot of people tend to rage quit 1hr race and race ends with 7 or 8 people

Just don't qualify. You start at 11th or higher and you always finish gaining a few positions. Great for your driver rating. 😂

Have my eyes deceived me or have I seen zero barrier collisions on race C? Don't know if PD tweaked anything between last week and this week or if they determine the sensitivity of barrier collisions per track. Given such a difficult track with difficult condtiions, such penalties would've given insult to injury, so in that regard, hats off to PD, I guess. EDIT: the chapter for daily race C is missing at around 14:45 to 14:48

Apologies for the delay! The rubber becomes very slippy so becomes less grippy than other parts of the circuit

I did Race C, and there was a guy in a Porsche 911 RSR who won 2 races by not doing a pit stop. Conditions were dry, and he was pushing pretty hard. I drove the same car, but I had to enter the pits at the end of lap 4 with fuel for only 0.6 laps remaining in the tank. If I wanted to finish all 6 laps without refueling, I would have had to save fuel for an additional 1.5 laps. How on earth is this supposed to be possible? Did this guy use some kind of glitch? Or does "The real driving simulator" really feature such ridiculously exaggerated physics so that saving such an amount of fuel without dropping a lot of performance is a real possibility? I don't understand this!

It is possible, I've done a fuel video previously. The best advice to fuel save is to short shift (Using fuel maps is worse), So 1/4 shift on the bar can save alot and not sacrifice alot of performance over an entire race.

Race c 9/10???? These 10 hours a day, spend 3 grand on a game, content creators are loving this race, and fair enough. Meanwhile, 99.9% of the players' experience is about 6 minutes of racing, followed by a crash/punt/push because of lack of track knowledge and then around 45 minutes of driving alone before finishing with something like 6 cars. Every week content creators (and others) complain about the game being stale, same cars, and same tracks,basic combos. Well, last week sure wasn't the same, and they all hated it, cried their little eyes out. This week, it's the definition of basic, and they all love it. L Annoying
