Yes to this tactic! Szeth's truncheon in a T4 fighter's hands makes them knockout champs. Even Exile T4s are perfectly useful in this case. I usually just use a steel truncheon for me, but I'll give my follower the best I can get at that time. Before I had really good armor, I would start the fights by shooting with blunted arrows from a safe perch, then let the follower get into it, but with epic flawless gear, there's no real need anymore.

This is my preferred method to do it too. Been using it since I got Lian. Helps a lot. I wanted to get the Treasure Seekers in the Wine Cellar, but they tend to bug out and not giving you the thrall after the loading screen sadly. Also did this in Sepermeru and had Lian take out a T4 alchemist whilst fighting 6-7 other thralls so I did the bondage with the alchemist and ran. Told Lian to follow and put the thrall in the wheel of friendship since most won't follow outside the city. Also noticed that you can build in a lake area, southern part of town, in Sepermeru. Put down foundations to make a base or put a wheel of friendship down. Thanks again for an informative video Kiah!

I normally go for a Blunted Javelin as soon as I can, they're on a par with the Steel Reinforced truncheons, but you can make them a lot lot earlier... just don't give it to your thrall - they tend to throw them... but yeah, using a thrall to knock out your next victim is the way to go... I try to start with a Lvl II or III fighter - usually a Relic Hunter as I head for Sep straight away, then go get a Lvl III Relic Hunter Slave Taker from Crown Grove... and then a Treasure Seeker from either the Un-named City or from The Wine Cellar, as they often spawn just round the corner from Szeth... although you could go straight for the Treasure Seekers instead of going for the Slave Taker after you relieve Szeth of his truncheon... just give your thrall time to heal, then turn the corner... ;o) It takes a lot of comparison and flitting through the Wiki, but... here's the knockout damage values to make a comparison (along with Unlock Level) lowest first -- Truncheon - Light 15 - Heavy 20 - Lvl 10 Lovetap - appears to be broken from what another YT'er was saying recently and only gives the same values as the Truncheon, though adds Sunder - Lvl 60 (Legendary Chests) Iron Truncheon - Light 25 - Heavy 30 - Lvl 30 Steel Truncheon - Light 35 - Heavy 40 - Lvl 50 Reinforced Steel Truncheon - Light 40 - Heavy 45 - Lvl ? - whenever you visit the Black Galleon, it's possible to find it in the "Hidden" chest on the back way into the underside of the POI Blunt Javelin - Light 45 - Thrown (Heavy) 45 - Lvl 21 - can't fit any nods to increase values - Because: Javelin Szeth's Truncheon - Light 45 - Heavy 50 - Lvl ? - He's a 1 Skull mini boss, so whenever you feel brave enough to go take him out, Random Drop, so may take a few tries to get it Hope that helps you folks! I recently did the running through the Wiki to find a better way to knock out my next Thrall, and scribbled it all down as I went... :o)

Funny video, love it!. I have been using this method for a while, though I like use a bow with stun arrows to pull enemies from horseback for my thrall to knock out. The spear/pike is sooo much better at killing unconscious people, but for a one hand, an axe is imo the easier to smack stuff that is lying on the ground.

I'm very surprised you missed something very important: the Lovetap legendary mace from world boss chests is 100% non-lethal while giving you the entire Mace attack animation set. What this means is that you can use it on horseback, and the massive cleaving arc, along with no knockdown or stamina use while on horseback, will let you meaningfully assist your thrall in KO'ing entire cities of Thralls with little retaliation damage. Edit: To make this even more effective, put your horse in +Maneuverability armor so you can turn and reposition more easily to keep enemies stunlocked until either they succumb to your barrage, or your Thrall taps them once or twice.

I like your idea on the method however when you look up into the data on the lovetap it's concussion dmg is equal to that of a iron truncheon, this is why I choose not to use it usually. But I will give it a go

I like gassing a grouip of unconscious NPCs. then farm them for their hide or relgious mats.
