Most people do not know the hard work that exists behind the beauty and perfection of performing a musical piece. Hard work and stubbornness leads you to perfection. Thanks for showing us some of your day to day. I wish success, but no accordeon close by.😆👏👏👏👏👏

Thank you Josias for your comment! Indeed, it's really hard for people (even more for non musicians) to imagine how many hours, months and years it can take to master a piece of music that only lasts a few minutes. It might even sound crazy to some people to undertake such a personal investment in time and energy for giving to the audience a beautiful and special musical moment. Yet, I guess that's the beauty of this type of art, something so beautiful that vanishes immediately as soon as the last note is played but that can last a lifetime in the heart of a person. :)

Nop, I didn't move. It might be confusing because I started my vlogs when I was traveling to Glasgow but I live in the Netherlands (and study in Belgium) but I'm from Spain (lol). I guess being a musician doesn't matter too much where you are based on because one is always moving around... x) Wish you a great Sunday and till the next vlog! :)

I did piano at Guildhall .... never worked as hard as you though and it showed lol. In practice rooms I was often surrounded with brilliance to my left, not so to my right, and poor me trying to perfect rhythms and timing always surrounded by *noise* - thank goodness I never got the accordion - but I did get trumpets and bass clarinets - not far off lol I'm finding guitar after piano really tough - but at 67 am just enjoying trying.

I think young players would benefit from you making a video about how you approach a new piece you've never played or even heard before. Say from when you first get the score and you haven't touched a note of it. How do you move forward? There are lots of areas where you can help young players.

Very few guitarists, when they file nails, put anything underneath so that the remains do not just fall on the floor or elsewhere. It's not really that delicious.
