Hi! I have watched this video countless times since last year and it never gets old! Thank you so much for sharing all your ideas it inspired me to make my own case from a DJ Hero case. I copied you and used the same vinyl on my case.

this is great! I'm going to try to make my own from scratch from a suit case. I have a condition that makes my bones brittle and my arms short so I need one that is very light and easy access to everything. my make up kit now is not. so I really love this!
@MakingFacesbyJemma8 жыл бұрын
Hi! I've used it on grass, and it worked very well. You can also adjust the length of the legs individually so it sits level and stable on the ground. Hope this helps!

Making Faces by Jemma It looks heavy...15lbs..without stuff I think...how many min walking alone with all supply do you think would be comfortable? If not this case what would be the best solution for someone walking a long ways and wants a chair and tall table?
@MakingFacesbyJemma9 жыл бұрын
LaurensDesigns It is quite heavy, but I wager it is lighter than most other kits out there. I'm okay walking with it for 5 minutes or so until my arm wants to drop off. But it is light enough for getting in and out of the car/public transport etc

HMM... Making Faces by Jemma I am debating on buying a cooler on wheels I saw recently..it should fit moth things..just have to test out if it will fit in my car and come in and out easy.. erp

Thanks Mandy, this case is lovely and small and it also keeps you working tidily as there is nowhere to 'plonk' things. I would highly recommend this if you are quite handy and crafty (and have a Combi-drill!)

Hello Jemma, I love your Idea of using the Dj Hero case for your face painting kit, but I have a question were did you find the collapsible legs?
@MsPatriciadelaGarza6 жыл бұрын
They come with the DJ Hero Renegade case. Normally they are tucked inside, but Jemma attached to the outside to access all the interior for face painting supplies (so smart!).
@anitabeal26042 жыл бұрын
Can you share a few tips for me? How did you attach the lid? What type if hinges? Did you use screws..if yes, how did you make it so they didn't stick out with the thin walls? Also, are the legs attached with clips that just stick on or are those screwed on as well?

Super cool setup , thanks for sharing! the question is....how heavy is it ?
@MakingFacesbyJemma9 жыл бұрын
It is quite heavy! The empty box itself is very light weight, but once the legs are clipped on and filled with paints, it's got a fair bulk to it. I'm fine carrying it about for a little bit (from the car into venue) without any problems. I carry it in one hand, with my handbag over my shoulder and my chair in my other hand - so I can make just one trip when setting up. I wouldn't fancy walking longer than 5 minutes though xxx
@lovebirdyart9 жыл бұрын
Making Faces by Jemma thanks, I wonder if you could put it in a trolley (like those ones you take to food markets ) when you have to carry it a bit further ? r one of those collapsible trolleys.

@emmadaley30439 жыл бұрын
Most people I know have covered it with a vinyl sticker with their business name on it!

Do you ever need to cover your paints (specifically white & black liner) so wet ones don't leak if they haven't dried out before you need to pack up?
@MakingFacesbyJemma5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jenna! After a long job my black and white do get gloopy, so I just make sure that I keep it laid flat until the paint has set again x
@jennasosa77405 жыл бұрын
@@MakingFacesbyJemma did you need to re-enforce the case where you installed your hinges? How did the screws not go all the way through the case?
@MakingFacesbyJemma5 жыл бұрын
Jenna Sosa i didn’t use screws, I used nuts and bolts to keep it secure. If you find it needs reinforcement you could try using some strong glue and MDF squares? x

Emma Price Hi! Thanks for watching the video. These are laundry bags designed to put delicates in when machine washing. I got mine from my local village homeware store, however they are available most places - look in the laundry section by the clothes pegs, ironing boards etc. Here is an example from Amazon - www.amazon.co.uk/Dense-Delicate-Zipped-Laundry-Washing/dp/B00DNGR862/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1432816125&sr=8-2&keywords=delicate+laundry+bags

Hi Jemma, thanks so much for sharing :) Your video has been extremely helpful for me while converting my own box. I'm almost finished, so excited! I wanted to ask you, how did you attached the legs to the underside of your case? I have the clasps already, should I hot glue them on (unsure if it will be strong to enough to hold them) or screw them through (which poses the problem of the screws sticking up on the inside)? Thanks so much, Orla :)x
@MakingFacesbyJemma9 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay! I used very small nuts and bolts. The bolts are on the outside of the case, so the inside is still flat and smooth. I don't think hot glue would work x
