That's a small thing to delegate to her. What labor? He gives her money to budget out for food. She goes and buy the food. THAT is their agreed role for her. I suggest she makes a list and maybe buy an extra roast or chops to keep in the freezer for if the food runs low. I also suggest that they sit down and look at those grocery receipts to find out why she runs out of food !
