I never liked Jae Kyung's character. She did not even know Jun pyo and just 'fell in love' as soon as she saw him. She said it herself- he was like a wine and that she had to tame him. You don't call that love, it is just like conquering territory. She also realised that Jun pyo and jan di loved each other but she kept using Jan di to get jun pyo's attention. Even when she called off the wedding, she made it sound like she was making a big sacrifice.

I think it is because she grew up spoiled which makes her refuse to take “no” for an answer. I think that is why she is so persistent in her feelings regardless whether he is in love or if it hurts her friend. It is almost similar to Jun pyo for Jan di because Jun pyo also grew up spoiled. He gets so attached to Jan di even though she initially focused on Ji hoo. He also tries to force his feelings onto her and claim her as his own, except the difference is that he doesn’t try to “fix” Jan Di whenever she does anything wrong in his view. Even though Jae Kyung and Jun pyo are similar, it still made me feel ill watching moments between her and him.

Meteor garden 2018 is the Chinese version of boys over flowers. Idk what exactly ur looking for but (Angels last mission: love) is good as well as Goblin, tale of the nine tailed, and legend of the blue sea is kinda sad.
