tbh, no. being pretty doesn't spare you from such things. this is a huge exaggeration. I have been pretty and I have been ugly. If you are pretty you may fit in better with society, but people are anyways fake so who cares if people like you or not? Personally, I like to avoid people. Second of all, being pretty mostly just makes you feel comfortable and confident. I think this is the only benefit. Also, being rich is more important than being pretty. and an abuser is going to abuse you no matter how you look btw.

I remember in student years my girl mate has a boyfriend who was a bad guy in her town.
