@@pjplayz5448 The PvZ community first thoughts and the Company's overall developer issue killed it. I would say that GW2 players did it, but tbh, its really just a large chunk of the PvZ community that avoided the game, causing it to cause problems for the company, and developers at the time were also struggling. now we're left with PvZ literally releasing a gardenscapes mobile game (Aka PvZ match) in hopes of children dumping cash on them. the overall development of PvZ just dead, and if it ever redeems itself as still thriving, call me back

The problem for me was the lack of content while adding in buying currency. They should have had legendary upgrades from the start and either kept rainbow stars cosmetic only, or made them more common. I did buy the game, after all.

A reminder to some people: this video doesn't establish BFN as dead, a chunk of it is still alive and playable, especially on console. While I do expect BFN to die soon (because lets be honest, its going down with every single PvZ game and not alone since PvZ is slowly rotting at this very moment), I recommend that in the meantime, if you still play the game for enjoyment, don't be afraid to keep doing that :P and if you even own the game but avoid playing it, give it a few more chances, because the combat compared to GW2 requires more skill and focus, and the best part about BFN is that its faster paced, and the outcome in battles between players are more balanced usually. Will miss someone this supportive of BFN leave, better off to say RIP Xplodin Apple's BFN series

Yeah, the combat in BFN feels a lot more fluid, and not how GW2 works where it can go one of three ways: 1. Land the first hit and you win 2. Land the first hit but then the opponent cheeses you with one of the games 15382518328 stun abilities 3. Be lucky and have a legit fight where you need to use skill to win (the minority of cases)

BfN had a lot of great ideas (My personal favorite being the Upgrade System) but failed in expanding them correctly in every way imaginable (Especially the Upgrade System, Legendary Upgrades suck) And THAT'S the issue PvZ is having now, not utilizing it's old and new mechanics to create something truly exciting. But, the fan-games, we still look up to, as a community, we will save PvZ, even when PvZ is at it's worst, we will still have each other. RIP BfN. Also, most reviews of BfN suck since they don't look at the Upgrade System at all.

I’m sure at least 90% of all the BFN reviewers play the game for twenty minutes, say that there are no variants, and say that it sucks. And it always infuriates me when people have their BS takes on how BFN has “terrible graphics” when that game makes PvZ feel more alive than it has in years. Hop onto GW2 and all you really get is the colour purple. I love GW2 a lot, but BFN wins in the graphics department, and not by a little, either.

PvZ wasn’t doing so great anyways. It’s not fair to use BFN as a scapegoat to all of the franchise’s issues. (Especially since the shooters and the tower defence games have two separate teams.) And if anything, the community killed BFN, due to the fact that they mindlessly hated the game instead of providing constructive criticism to help PopCap make the game better.

Honestly, I loved this game. It was my true embodiment of my pvz happiness. I liked the graphics and gameplay. It shows what the view of plants trying to defend or attack, same with the zombies, but from 3rd person. The game was pretty good but it’s downfall is what killed off the game. The game lived a really good life. Ofcourse the game might’ve had some bad things but overall the game had good potential. I wish it could’ve been as popular as the old gw and gw2 games.

GW2 is still better then neighbor ville, the sudden graphic change just ruined it all. Pop cap put their heart and soul into making GW2 enjoyable and a fun game (except chompers, frick chompers) for everyone. The balancing is a lot better compared to the first and is overall just a new experience for every character

Honestly BFN has way better graphics than GW2, but some of the character designs I don’t like as much (Looking at you, Rose and Peashooter). The environments feel super natural, and the game overall feels much more organic (no pun intended). GW2 is still superior, but the things that BFN did better don’t deserve to go unnoticed. And don’t get me started on GW2’s balancing.
