I decided to cap my show on WRFI Community Radio at 400 episodes ("Thank You Friends"). May be back in some capacity but that's it for now.
I decided to play the hits so to speak. Classic rock, country rock, rural rock, a bit of psych and plenty of stuff you'll know and love.
The show is available at these places and will remain.

Congrats Dom on your 400th show for WRFI. I've lived almost 7 years in Ithaca but only now discovering it... shame on me! I'm glad all the episodes are on mixcloud for posterity (for now). Thanks for investing so much of your time to share your passion! I'm sure it made a massive impact locally. 🙏☮

Thanks for the update. I didn’t realize that you had been on the radio for so long. Congratulations. Many of those same albums have meant so much to me on this musical journey. I will need to go back and watch a couple of episodes to catch up on what you’ve been doing all these years. Thank you for sharing. Cheers.

Dom, congrats on doing 400 Radio shows. I've got some friends who did, or still do, college Radio shows. I know how much work is involved in keeping things fresh.Yes, that Lee Hazlewood album is my fave by him.''If It's Monday Morning" is a perfect tune. The bass line is sublime. The song, ''The Bogus Man'' on the Roxy Music album is Post- Punk before Punk was even invented! The bass line is sublime. My top album by Sly Stone is ''Fresh'', Miles Davis loved that album too and forced his band members to listen to it over and over again- boom!

Yes i need to land Fresh, keep meaning to grab that one. But thank you Michael. I love radio and the art of telling a story with no visuals. Nothing like it. I have a feeling that wasn't my last. Cheers

Lots of classics here! Sparks seemed to shoot up in price like the past 10 years, probably less. Everyone started realizing how great they are. I have a feeling the Emitt Rhodes records will soon, too, as more people realize how great he is. I need that Fairfield Parlour album. Just discovered it. LOVE Roxy Music and For Your Pleasure. Editions of You is a banger. I also have one of those glorious "pink-rim" UK Islands. I do not have the Stooges' debut, though. Incredible. Talk about going up in price! I would be thrilled just to find a late 70s pressing at this point. And CP is indeed Columbia Pitman.

Hey John, perhaps with Rhodes. I don't know if all his records are as good as that one but they all have merits. Great songwriter. I need to upgrade Fun House as my copy is a bit beat but good luck to me these days.

In the 80s I bought all the Sparks in the bargain bins. Now the prices are stupid high. I have seen the Emmitt Rhodes in my travels but knew nothing of it. Now I’m interested Dom. The end of an era Doug. Everything takes time to do

Very true, it all takes time even the good stuff. We'll see if I miss it. Definitely grab that Emmit Rhodes if you see it. I see it here all the time, perhaps I will snag it for ya next time.

Ha! Columbia Pitman. Cool video - congrats on 10 yrs. There is value in “sticking with it” and smart to bring it to a close if it starts to feel like a chore.

I was, and really still am, in the process of doing a show dedicated to my mom. A tougher one to do but will happen. I'd guess the Roxy Music and John Cale.

End of an era, I just renewed my radio show on Trent University radio here in Peterborough Ontario for another season, but will probably take a break in September, Canadian radio rules can be challenging for programming but I will persevere, but I still need to start up my KZbin channel

Have to agree with Emitt Rhodes, very nice LP. Same with that Link Wray record. Very roots rock. A sound that I enjoy every now and then.

Too bad the other Link Wray records recorded at that same studio, which was an old chicken shack I believe, don't have the same magic.

On the Beach has become a hipster vinyl, used to be seen as poor, still is to my ears. His voice seem to lack the capacity to transmit feeling on this record. Woofter one of the first Lp's I owned, no memory now as to why I picked it up, but the track ''batteries not included'' was pop music gold.
