Dude, come to Rio de Janeiro! Not only do we have one of the most beautiful libraries in the world (Don't take my word for it! Look it up! Royal Portuguese Reading Room) but we also have amazing authors who are worth all the love! (like Machado de Assis. His The Posthumous Memoirs of Brás Cubas is a must). But that's not all! We also have some amazing hidden gems most tourists don't get to see, going from fancy to trashy. The trashy ones are my favorite cuz I'm classy like that! I just thought I should throw our hat in the ring!

Gavin, I know you're reading manga right now, but I just heard about a middle grade fantasy adventure series you need to check out maybe for your 2023 TBR: The Path of the Ranger series by Pedro Urvi. It was originally published in Spanish, and my sister-in-law's tween nephews live in Spain and apparently they are wild about this series. It also just came out in an English translation this year. I bought the Kindle version of book 1 "The Traitor's Son", and it's very enjoyable. Very action-y and fun. There are 15 books in the series.

Omg!!! im so excited for all your content, you are honesty onebof the most creative booktubers out there. Although I'm sure California might be a bit to far to travel i want to share some of my states most haunted places. The Cecil Hotel in LA. This one has since been remodeled, I think into a housing complex (which.... yikes) but I still recommend just reading about it. The Winchester Mystery House in San Jose. You cant stay overnight as far as I know but you can take tours, my sister went and all she said was that it was shocking. The Queen Mary. Its one of the most haunted ships in the world. Room B340 being the most haunted, Bodie (ghost town). I've actually been to this one and it def had weird vibes, apparently theres a curse on the town. Alcatraz in San Francisco, so this another one you can only tour, but I highly recommend. Outside of CA one of the most haunted places in America is the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. Its the hotel the Shining was based on. Room 401 is one of the most haunted rooms. I knew something who tried staying the night in room 401 and she gave up around 10:00 when something started pulling her hair. sorry for such a long comment, haunted locations are just so interesting to me.
