I’m so happy you got the job in London so you can stay close to your family, I’m processing a lot of change in my life too and it’s so reassuring to see people like you admit that you’re struggling with it too. People so often seem really confident about change on the outside and treat it as if it’s cool to be ready to move on and that it’s not the done thing to feel nostalgic for good times such as uni, I’m so glad I can relate to such a strong and intelligent person like you

seeing your video put me so at ease, also a KCL student recently graduated and just arrived in Singapore to start my Masters program. unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with my current studies, I find it boring and am starting to regret this decision to change my major. I am at the important point of whether I need to drop out, reapply and return to London. But your videos have made me forget about all this worry for the moment. I'm in a similar position with my bachelor's degree- I am chronically bored in my classes and i know that it's not the career that i was to pursue but i don't want to risk changing again and being even more unhappy so I'm constantly stuck between wanting to leave and hesitating. My advice would be picture where you would be happiest and go to that because life is far too short to be unhappy x

First of all, big congratulations on getting the job! Super super excited for you! I understand that change is difficult at times, even if it’s good change. I’m going through a lot of change in my life aswell from moving to my own flat from a shared flat, to getting help with my adhd, to changing jobs and slowly getting back to uni. These are all things I’m excited about but all new things which can just be scary and overwhelming. We just always gotta remember to be grateful for the past experiences we got and hold these memories in our hearts, while looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges that are facing us. Thank you so much!! I had a months break from finishing the internship to starting the graduate job. Normally you’d get a year off as most people do summer internships in their penultimate year, but everything was delayed with covid so hence why only a few weeks break ☺️✨
