Hello everyone, welcome back for another sewing catchup in today's #fridaysews video.
Today I'm wearing my most recently finished sewing project, the Tilly and the Buttons Olive pinafore dress from her Make It Simple book. I used some deep stash needlecord fabric that is cream with a speckle print and some Prym snaps for the front fastening and pockets.

I'm mulling over what to use my thicker corduroy fabric for - the front runners are either another Pippi Pinafore by Jennifer Lauren Handmade, or a new pattern for me, the Tilly and the Buttons Bobbi Pinafore.

I've also received some more fabric in the post from the medicinal shopping I did to make up for missing the Knitting & Stitching Show. These two were from Simple Life Fabrics - a Nerida Hansen viscose and a remnant piece of pink leopard print cotton jersey that I am planning to turn into a pair of Juno pyjama bottoms from Tilly and the Buttons.

I put out an extra video this week, so if you want to hear more about my overflowing basket of WIPs and what I am hoping to get finished to participate in the #finishthatWIP2024 challenge currently being hosted by @onelisashow you can check that video out here - • What’s in my WIP bucke...
If anyone wants to know about the yarn event my friend is organising in Woolwich, it's called Make Joy and is happening on 9th November - the link to buy tickets and find out more on the vendors and talks planned is here - www.woolwich.w...
Finally, if anyone has any ideas or inspiration suggestions for what I could make for my work Xmas party that is 70s disco themed, please let me know in the comments because I am a bit stumped!
I hope everyone has a lovely sewing week and I'll be back very soon with another video.
