My first 1.5 years taking photos - Panasonic FZ80 to Sony A7R IV

Obviously gear doesn't make the photographer. A pro with a compact ultra-zoom with a small sensor will probably take better photos than me with my Sony A7R IV all day. But good gear can remove limitations and help you get better photos when you learn how to use it. In this video I talk about what got me into photography and my progress so far. I go through, in Lightroom, some recent photos I took during a sunrise lakeside walk. I tell you what I think worked and what didn't work. This channel is geared towards beginners and novices who want to see someone else who is progressing in photography.
