Can the video quality of a $300 Lumix FZ-80 compete with a $3,000 Sony A7R IV?

Nobody cross-shops a relatively cheap compact zoom camera like the Lumix FZ-80 with a full-framed hi-res expensive camera like the Sony A7R IV. But people who are using something like the FZ-80 may wonder what benefits a larger sensor camera has. This video compares the two to see where each camera excels.

I recently bought a Lumix FZ80/82 and I’m not a camera expert, in fact I’m new to all of this but I have to say the LUMIX is impressive for what it does. I use it to make my Channel videos.

For sure! It's an awesome camera. Not much else has the zoom capabilities and image stabilization that the FZ-80 has. It got me hooked on photography and even though I've bought a bunch more cameras since, I still break out the FZ-80 when I get the chance. Interestingly, the tracking AF on the FZ-80 works wayyy better than the tracking on my Lumix GX85. Good job, Panasonic on bringing good features to that camera.
