Today we’re playing our first 100 days of modded survival Minecraft in the new 1.20 update. I have big build plans for this series and am so excited to start this new adventure together!
My main goals for this episode are to:
- Experience some of the new 1.20 features
- Plan our first castle
- Automate our basic resources
This video is going to be a bit different from my other let’s plays as I was also focused on just learning more about the game, experiencing things I don’t usually try, and getting set up to build five separate specially themed kingdoms.

​@@goddessofcrows Mhm! Oh If you watch some of SmallishBeans/Joel's 100 days vanilla hardcore Minecraft series he made an iron farm then put a building around it. Tho his was bigger and looked like a cathedral castle. When building around a farm put 5ish blocks away from the farm and build. Maybe more. I am not sure. Probably see how Joel does it. He is an amazing builder and maybe watching some of his videos may help on some build ideas or how to do some things. Also if you decide to ever build a tree farm move it a bit away from your kingdom and if you want to build a building around it you have to make sure it's 10 maybe 20 or more blocks away from the farm Joel learns that hard if I remember correctly what happens if you build a building a little to close to a tree farm. Tree farms use a lot of TNT.

Furnaces will store XP when use as an auto-smelter (or auto-cooker with Smokers), so those levers allow you to collect the XP by flipping and getting the cooked item/s & XP. Anyway, enjoyed the video.

Can I ask what you used to get the unique sounds when you're walking on various materials? The sound when you're walking on stony materials is super satisfying, and I think I'd wanna try it myself. Also, I think the pink and yellow build looks good (perhaps a smidge heavy on the pink for the interior, but otherwise very nice), though I can understand how you might not have found it appealing. I find that I really like seeing those brightly colored builds when other people make them, but for some reason when I make them myself I can't help but feel like it suddenly clashes or is too much.

Thank you ❤ Edit: I think the reason that the zombies didn’t fall into your trap is because you had them facing the wrong way ie: the way you had the trapdoors facing lengthwise you would have had to have them follow you and fall that way whereas if you placed them width wise you would have been able to jump across the way you were if that makes sense Edit edit: would you be willing to release this pack? Never mind you answered at the end lol Edit edit edit; I believe for auto smelters when you flip the lever you’ll get your xp Another edit: you could try some blocks from the nether which could look pink depending on your texture pack. Or you can do pink and white like peppermint. The nether blocks would be more like a purple maybe or deep wine but that is like strawberry or grape flavored. You can do more than one flavor of candy too! Chocolate, mint, caramel, etc - I think the pink of the stripped logs just might be too pepto colored. Edit edit edit whatever lol: with zombification of villagers you can throw the potion of weakness in between two and cure two for the price of one potion. Depending on distance you might be able to do 3 per potion if you aim just right

I'm really glad you enjoyed the video! It was a lot of fun to make - That makes a lot of sense, I've never built any traps like this before so I'll keep that in mind for next time - I am definitely going to be making a video at the very least, but I do plan to reach out to the various authors and see if they would let me put everything together in one pack for you guys to keep things simple ^^ - I love the idea of peppermint was a scheme or adding in different kinds of candy! I'll have to try it out when we build more because I agree, the stripped logs are a bit much for my tastes - That's a super helpful tip!! Thank you for your sweet and thoughtful comment ^^
