Congrats! My orthodontist removed my braces last week and I cried when I saw the results. It was something I dreamed of since I was a teen. I feel so confident now when I speak and smile. 🥳🥳🥳

I had Invisalign! 100% worth it, I’m so much more confident now! Also, I use the therabreath mouthwash to soak my trays that I wear at night, it works so well for that! Also, I went over 2 hours without them in sometimes and I didn’t notice a huge difference:)

Glad to see you started the trays! For me, the first couple of days of first week for each new tray were painful since each tray tightens more towards your teeth's alignment goal. The second week of each tray was actually painless because the trays definitely get loose (and gross IMO); sometimes you will see them crack in certain areas, too. Also, you will find that some trays have irregular edges that will rub against your cheek and get painful. For that, just use a new nail emery board and carefully file down the edges where the molding sticks out.

I had metal braces AND Invisalign. Invisalign is way less painful than metal braces. After a few trays they don’t hurt as much. When i changed to new trays they only hurt for the first few hours, and not as bad as when first trying them out as you are now. Make sure to brush the trays themselves! Or they start to smell like bad breath. Drinking dark liquids can stain them a bit, like coffee or dark pop. I would also keep my trays out longer than 2 hours, my dentist lectured me lol but it never delayed my process. Lots of brushing and flossing as cavities are more common when you have trays in. Hope the process gets easier for you!

Omg one tip: Bring gum with you when you know you're going to be eating or snacking on-the-go. Sometimes I don't have time to brush, so chewing gum helps get all the food out of your teeth as quickly as possible :)

Jas, keep the trays in while filming. We don't care if you have a lisp, or extra saliva. No worries about any of that, seriously. You need to have the two hours for eating and cleaning your teeth after. You really sounded fine on this video and you should only have lispy days during the first 24 hours of using new trays hereonout. Just chat with Bernard and sing him songs to get used to the new ones and your videos should be close to lisp-free there after. 💕

Hey girl!! I had Invisalign since last October! It will be a lot to getting use to. You will get marks on your gums from rubbing so you can use orthowax (which is what I used for a couple days) without that i honestly would have stopped using it. After about 3-5 days it takes getting use to. It will hurt quite a while when you start new trays. A tip i did was put it in hot/warm water so it feels good putting it on with a denture cleaner!!! Goodluck on your journey!

I have had clear aligners and finished my treatment the beginning of last year. I don’t know if i necessarily thought they were life changing but it did improve my smile a tad bit. I’m contemplating on getting actual wire braces because the trays were an okay starting point. spent over $3000 for the damn things tho 😂 my biggest tip is to carry around a toothbrush/toothpaste to brush your trays/teeth and i liked to start wearing my next set of trays at night so throughout the day i wasn’t in full blown discomfort lol OH and always have water handy lol i feel like they dried out my mouth whenever i wore them.

Whew, Invisalign was an experience for me. I struggled to wear my trays for the full 22 hours some days, I had about 30 trays. It definitely prolonged my treatment. I had the lisp at first and a lot of pain, but then you get used to it. I would say the worst part is the IPR or interpoixmal reduction which is when orthodontist will use a tiny file to shave in between your teeth like floss. It’s so that the teeth have room to move with the trays. It is typically necessary with overcrowded teeth. Just thinking of the sound still makes me cringe 😖. It was 100% worth it though….Don’t be like me and not wear your retainer bc my teeth are definitely moving now 🤦🏼‍♀️

So funny, I was just telling my husband that I must of somehow missed your video of putting ur invisalign in, I was going to try to look for it tomorrow, thats so funny. I got mine back in February and thankfully I didn't have a lisp, but the soreness was deff. there, I still have mine til October unless they say I need them in longer but some weeks they don't bother me and other weeks are more sore but I can see so much of a difference, thats what keeps me going. Your just so beautiful and I just can't get enough of your videos, they always make me so happy.

I’m doing Invisalign now! I’m on tray 35 out of 39 and just got scanned for a set of refinement trays today. I hope I’m almost done because I’m kinda over it! I do leave them out more than the 2 hours. My teeth get sore with each new tray and my bite feels funny when I first take the trays out. My #1 tip is use a paper towel to help get them out. It makes gripping them so much easier! This was a life saver for me!!!

I had got smile direct club you wear the aligners 24 hours a day the pain was more where you teeth were crooked or need more worked. If the pain got bad I would get Orajel. It really helped. New aligners it’ll be more stiff so I would get a wet tile and bite on it to make sure it’s in there. For less pain and faster and idk if you should but to stop putting germs back in your mouth I would get a disinfectant wipe and wipe through it well because if not dirt will add up not just wash them will water. And it says not to wash it with mouthwash so I’ll wash it really good with water after I disinfected. You’ll see change very quickly. Retainers are every night not threw the day. You really don’t feel pain at all. So I’m at the end now. It’s not at bad especially when you get to 2 months I say but for me.

I had Invisalign years ago. I misjudged the extreme pain. After a horrifying seven week time frame of pain I could no longer bare it and said screw it. Sad part is after any dental work if you don’t wear retainers for the rest of your life your teeth will shift. It’s inevitable. So even after all the money spent sadly age just shifts teeth. I hope you feel better soon. I wish I could tell you it gets better. Sadly it doesn’t :(

My teeth look straight from the front but my problem was always on the sides with a cross-bite. My dentist has told me they’re starting to shift back there. I’m 34 now and lost my top retainer when I was 18ish 🤦🏼‍♀️ I need to pay for a new one but lord it’s expensive. I have a small glued in retainer on my bottom teeth but he said I should get a full retainer for down there too. Ugh

just a suggestion but maybe getting some Orajel and putting a little on the parts of your gums that really hurt might help the pain a little. Even rising with salt water might help too when i got a tooth out the dentist said to rise with salt to help the gums heal and it did help. After you are done with that your teeth are gonna look Beautiful. and the lisp isnt that bad...lol

I have Invisalign and I’m on my fourth tray I definitely had a lisp even when I put my second tray on but now I got used it and eventually you’ll get used to it and won’t feel the saliva inside lol I only feel pressure the first couple of days that I put a new tray in so you’ll get used it

Also I only eat and brush my teeth right away so I can put my trays back on just make it a habit and it’ll get easier 👌🏻

My son just got aligners in June and he doesn’t have a lispe. You will be fine. He hasn’t hurt that much either and his teeth are WAY worse than yours. He has to have them on 2.5 years. 😳 he also has to have them in at least 23 hours a day minimum. Oh and also, he has to have a little bit of a nail on his fingers to pop them out.. 😂🤣

Girl cotton candy grapes are THE BEST! I honestly didnt know up north had them also I know it sounds stupid but I really thought the south only had them. Now i feel ashamed to even say that lol.. Anyway if you dont mind saying, what is the issue you have with your teeth? Im not trying to be sarcastic i genuinely have never seen a issue with them (but then again they aren't my teeth) I thought your teeth are beautiful. Maybe you mentioned it before and i missed it, I have been following you for MANY years and dont recall you talking about it...

It's probably a good idea to do voice over style videos to decrease your downtime with the trays when filming

Do you know if clear correct is less expensive than invisalign? I always wanted invisalign, but they are soo expensive!
@juicyjasvlogs

I don’t think it’s that much cheaper tbh! Depends how long you need them & how many trays. Mine were about $3,500 which I feel is still very pricy
