He's TERRIBLE! His sounds R all generic trash, slathered in reverb, though his 'songs' are 'melodically' interesting. He also deliberately WASTES as much time as possible on random 'filler krap' like sitting there playing with the box rather than going into demo about the sounds (like Pete Thorn or similar would do). He also has psychological problems = attaching 'romance' to a dead object. I have some 'nice things' but I would never 'gush' about them with such 'lust'. It's absurd, like 'talking to your shoe collection' =)) Getting all excited about a tiny little screen, smaller than any random cheap laptop for like $30 off Craigslist, & also smaller than most cheap multi-effect pedals, is also silly, & makes him come off like a dork & a shill 4 the brand, like he is getting paid to 'go bonkers' over the device.

@@thepedalzone Ditto what he said! I do like the shorter stuff-conciseness is great, especially for showing what the result of a fully developed idea from a pedalcan be-but I feel like this side of pedal discovery is overlooked by most. And it's super helpful to see what we all experience when doing our first deep dive into a new device.

Incredible start for the video and I will save the rest for later when I have the chance to hear stereo w/ headphones. Just a wow for the first few minutes and it’s mostly because of how your excitement translates to me as a viewer even via a mobile phone screen. It's cool but they messed up when they didnt add an effects loop and made it 600 bucks. I have vintage pedals costing thousands and 50+new pedals and dozens more I've built. Some costing even more. But a empress zoia can do literally the same thing if you want. So can a poly beebo Without an effects loop I won't even consider it I wont buy any delay without one these days. I still have my timefactor I mainly use on my main board and a clone of a vintage DMM with a loop. And I have a few strymon delays and some others. Plus an hx stomp. And this is just abusrd price that is really cool but lacking way too much for the price of it. My hx stomp does amazing delays(sure not anywhere near as crZy) but also does any other effect and amp and cab sims etc. My zoia can LITERALLY do anything you could possibly every imagine. If you can dream it it can do it. If it was 500 bucks and had an FX loop I'd buy one but I'll have to pass. I have been wanting the polymoon tho so hopefully the price will drop and I'll snag one. I was hoping itd be a hx effect type pedal with all of their pedals in one. That's I'd pay for and alot. If it could do everything their current pedals do and more I'd be excited. Theres a million incredible delays out there and for the price of this theres better options unless you do nothing but play ambient soundscapes on KZbin

Well, once you've made your presets, this thing couldn't be more ready to go for live use. I'm definitely gonna be using this live with my band. It's gonna take the place of a lot of the delays that are currently on my board. And yes, this is most definitely another game changer from Meris. They are the masters at that.

The pitch shifting menu diving is exactly what I wanted from Meris. Their Hedra sounded amazing, but was so frustrated by not being able to accurately dial in sound on that pedal that I bought and sold that pedal twice. Sounded amazing, but just couldn't easily set it up. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Being able to see all the parameters they give to all their pedals under the hood blows me away. This pedal is incredible. I can't believe they've built something like this. I can't wait for this to ship late Summer. Cheers Stephan. Great sound design, and playing as always

You would never say this Stefan because you’re beautifully modest. But you’re a genius. I wish I could get into pedals the way you do. My own neurodivergence makes it difficult for me to remember how things work and organising my work flow. But Meris pedals I have always got to grips with because their interfaces are super simple and intuitive. I hope to get an LVX and see if the enhancements are ones I can make use of ❤

dude your emotional, passionate love of pedals is inspiring. Reminds me of how I was with my first pedals mid-1970s, that feeling the first time one heard what a Small Stone, delay, fuzz etc. did to the mono-syllabic voicing of one's electric guitar. Watching your vids reminds me to relive (make that "revive") that stoke for pedals, even at my age. Thanks for that, man.

Sounds great! Love the sounds you pulled outta this box. I recently bought a Hologram Microcosm and am getting similar vibes here. But Meris might be the best I've heard in terms of digital sound design. UI looks great and doesn't suffer from having to overwrite a preset to access secondary functions like their smaller pedals (which I still love).
@benjamincoggins6568
@benjamincoggins6568 2 жыл бұрын
It’s annoying, but you aren’t overwriting preset parameters with alt functions, you’re just not seeing the preset primary parameters reflected by knob positions after tweaking alts on preset. I bought third party overlays for alt functions for my meris pedals which super helps
@DanielTatomer
@DanielTatomer 2 жыл бұрын
@@benjamincoggins6568 I guess that's true if you take extreme care not to change any of the primary parameters before you press the alt button. But I'd have much preferred something like press and hold two buttons to save current settings to preset slot so you can experiment freely without worrying. Given how deep the Meris pedals are it would also have been nice to have more preset slots a la Chase Bliss stuff. I got the overlays for my OBJ and Enzo too, pretty convenient.
