My first adventure in Snowdonia: Diffwys

On my first visit to Snowdonia (or Eryri as it's known in Welsh), I climbed a peak in the Rhinoggyd, a rocky range near Abermaw.
A wander from the local village took me into the southern peak of this iconic, rugged & quiet mountain range.
With a modest height & amazing views in all directions, would the descent amaze just as much as the ascent?
Quiet rural lanes, picturesque paths, empty ridges, secluded peaks & sleepy forests are just some of the wonderful experiences I had on this first adventure

@@Over_the_Hill I will do mate. I did an out and back to Cadair Idris straight from the door of the holiday cottage. Really quiet, no one goes up that way. The video of the route is on my channel if you are interested. 👍
