What I will say is anybody who is already suffering from mental illness like drug induced Psychosis or Schizophrenia then stay away from these medicines they will not help. These plants are more for people who are stable but have some inner work and adjustments to be done

Why do mind-games nullify the best intentions? I remember being stoned with my best friend back in my varsity dorm. We were comfortably lost in one of those deep, meaningful conversations students love to have, unpacking how we saw ourselves in the future. I went on a whole ramble, picturing where I would live, work, what I'd be listening to, reading on my balcony etc etc. It took a while. When I was finally done, my friend looked at me for a while and then simply asked.... "But who are you with?" I was totally blank. I hadn't even considered it. I'm still occasionally given pause by this memory when I'm comfortably alone. I try not to confuse it with being lonely or cobbling it to a phantom, self-soothing inner child. Just my two cents. Not to invalidate your deeply profound experience, of course. Great vid! 😁✌️

Wow your experience describes why I could never do the cry it out method with my infant son even though many people pressured me to do it. I intuitively felt the absolute terror and devastation he would feel crying into the dark and no one coming. I learned in my doula training program how His body after being a part of my body was designed to be regulated and comforted by the touch of my skin the sound of my heart beat, the sound of my voice, my smell, the chemicals being released in my body and simultaneously in his. I was the matrix he had lived inside of and been fully supported by for 9 months. I think this translates to when we are adults knowing how to hold ourselves in moments of sadness and fear. Pick up and hold our inner baby. 🙏🧡 thank you for having the courage to do this.

I had a beautiful experience in so many ways - the purging was just a purification of entry. I communed with the beautiful trees around me that influenced me for years to follow. I saw a neon pink web connecting all the stars. It truly is a medicine - shamans blended it, of course. It was 2003. The depth of the heart and soul is endless. I have so many untouched areas that even I do not know of. Such a desire to understand and reorganize it all. Basically, to be reborn healthy.. after so much prayer, self help, medications, counseling, etc… I would just like the lives new experience to be in every part of my being- and the old stuff erased as if never having been (except when needed to be drawn upon to help another or do art or whatever). Aya, mushrooms, whatever…But am on antidepressants. Mood stabilizer and ADD Meds. Cannot function without caffeine and cannot control my appetite too well. Would want to be safe, healthy, keep my mind, and ina setting that is totally trustworthy, wise, evocative and safe…. Like Jesus really touching you and being reborn. I’m ready. So if this is not a dangerous or against God thingand safe- I want the growth and benefits for myself and loved ones- Aya or another method…. As long as it is real and works and is gentle

In my late teens & 20s my friends and I would do shrooms, Isd, and ecstasy occasionally. Good times! All were positive, fun, spiritual experiences. But, it's been decades. I don't know anyone who knows anyone who can get psychedelics from. I live in LA & there's a Kush store three blocks from my house, but I can't function alone on weed. I wish they sold psilocybin gummies. I'm a little depressed & a little anxious on a regular basis. I'm not a big drinker and I hate taking pills. A bite or two of a chocolate bar, or a cup of mushroom tea everyday would be a godsent for me.

The Trips I've been having really helped me a lot. I’m now able to meditate and I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well

Interesting experience, incredible how the descriptions are so different, personal and as the same way impactful. I recently had a ceremony experience but with Psilocybin. Similarly the guide used music, it was a personal,not group ceremony and the biggest and most impactful moment was at the beginning, the sensation of the music and feeling of moving through this mandala, no time or space sensation and a general feeling of scared and intense aloneness. I was laying down and thought how funny the mind tries to make sense and look for a familiar sensation or meaning, letting go was some what scary, I felt a voice inside me comforting me that I was not alone, but the general feeling I was moving was yes the feeling of being alone. At a certain point in the music a song I recognized came up and I needed to sit up, my guide covered me with a blanket, he later told me he was guided to do this, and I began singing the familiar mantra, and felt a powerful sensation very similar of what you described, not ego based, feeling of power within me, for me feminine divinity power and yes I truly believe, not wanting to name it to a general description but at kundalini movement of energy from my base chackra all energy alignment and up to my head, really amazing. This I was not told it could happen, it might be something just at my experience. After, the guide told me to open my eyes and the rest was more of sensations, as you said energy moving but very positive, just letting go. In a very nature setting with music and drums, experience. I am curious what you might say about its effects on your mediation practice. Is there a before and after? Also have you noticed any of the sensitivity to wholesome thoughts vs. critical thoughts declining over time?

Such a great question! And thanks so much for your kind words. Meditation has so many facets and for me at least, eventually meditation is just all of my experience so the psychedelic side of meditation is definitely congruent to psychedelic medicines. That said, I’ve never had a deeper psychedelic experience than through serious meditation practice. Ayawaska is not a subtle intervention and there’s a lot of psychological processing that occurs but, this processing is brought to you by the beauty of the transcended material touching the ordinary. In this way, it’s very similar to meditation. Although, must peoples experience of meditation is microdosed, so it’s rare they have these experiences. I’m not really sure if I’m a great test case for a before, and after meditation experience. For a number of years so much of my experience all feels like one thing at various levels of strangeness and depth. So… 🤷🏻‍♂️ But it is definitely the case that the wholesomeness and self acceptance that his medicine pointed towards is part of my life on and off the cushion since this experience. Hope that’s helpful and/or interesting. ;)
