I've used all these beat making software programs and I still think Maschine is the easiest, fastest and the most fun software and on top of that Native Instruments has the BEST sounds.

I agree but Akai hardware is superior. Maschine Plus is priced similar to Live 2 but spec’d more similarly to MPC One. Should not have been priced more than$999 imo
@thenet3d2 жыл бұрын
@@kevlew.mrlew_mrlewmedia yep 100. The live 2 is my go too. And I don't need a billion sounds. The supplied library has got it all covered and the plugins allow me to customise the sounds easily as well as craft my own. Haven't needed to craft my own. I found that having komplete ultimate just had me spending ages going through different sound packs and not really finding anything that inspired me..I think for the EDM folk massive is great but for me just a whole lot of noise.

Question... Can You Take The Machine To The Beach, In Its Original Form Without It Being Doctored up With External Batteries And Whatnot And Create A Masterpiece? Of Course Not... Only The MPC Live 2 Is Capable of That... That Being Said Tupac Nor Drake, Are Considered Fast Rappers, Its About How You USE YOUR CONTENT, That's Why Their Performances Are APEXED! Its Not Always About The Fastest, Especially When The Word ART Is INVOLVED. 😁.

Quickest way to get to main mixer. 1. Click on mixer tab with the mouse. 2. Click on a group with the mouse. 3. On the MK3 or Maschine+ push the large knob up or down. The main mixer will show.

Bolo, I believe ‘Default’ Full Level is at 100 velocity. If you go to ‘Pad Mode’ and press the right arrow until you get to the last page you can change the velocity to 127. That will give you harder hits in ‘Full’ mode

What Up Bolo!! Illy here from Baltimore , welcome to the maschine family. Heres a tip , If you use all 16 slots in the bank , its easier to mix the levels in the mixer because they'll all be on the same page. For instance , if you had put those first three instruments in the same bank , when you pulled up the mixer you wouldn't have had to go bank to bank to level the sounds out. They would have all been in the same mixer.

Tips 1.) Change Mixer layout and back, click down and up with your encoder knob. (You see little white leds near the encoder knob, which direction you can go to ;-) Tip 2.) Watch your mainvolume to avoid it to go in the red, set Mainvolume to -3.5 dB. I hope this is helpful to you! and your beat is realy good for first use!
@EricRabb2 жыл бұрын
BOLO, I use each instrument volume and keep all my faders @ zero db, mixes sound way cleaner that way. Some NI instruments like the Poly Synth doesn’t have a volume knob, so what I do is use a plug in with a variable output. A simple NI compressor should do the trick.

HeyBOLO this is Dutch! You wanted to know how to control the mixing level! Instead of mixing every individual sound level, turn the group setting on. When you turn the group setting on you can control the volumes of every instrument in that particular group. Remember to look for the tab that says group and that will allow you to control the mix on all the instruments in that group!
Click on view at the top of the screen ( I'm using Mac) and select mixer. Or while on mixer tab of the MK3 console press up on the dial and it'll show the full mixer. Press down to return. Glad I could help Bolo!

Started with Maschine MK2, nine years ago (haven’t released one thing as of yet, plan to soon, another story), still trying to learn Live and Push2, can’t seem to get MPC to cooperate (started with Beats then Studio). When I can’t deal with the frustration of the other two I always return to just pressing that little button on the back my MK3, see those colors light across the pads and I can turn out beats in minutes, like you did here. Nice beat btw and video as usual. Really enjoy your channel. Starting with the ease and simplicity of Maschine has got me used to that workflow, the sounds and quality are top notch and it keeps improving as a complete DAW itself.

I use Maschine to sketch out my tracks but use full kits on groups. I often use several kits while writing, i create 8-16 measure loops and export them all to Ableton. Ive been using Maschine since it first came out but am only using a micro these days. I have an original Maschine 1 sitting in a box but never used it fully so the Micro is enough for me. Nice start with a quick beat and look forward to seeing you pick up more knowledge using Maschine.

When you export to Ableton. How are your audio files exported? I was in Ideas mode when I exported to FL Studio, it created an audio file for each scene. I’m curious if I should separate/organize the audio files differently.
