Thanks Marly, I've been knitting for over 70 years now and I'm still learning new things from you. My mom taught me when I was very young, and because I was sitting in front of her and watching her I now knit backwards lol...I tried other ways and for me at my age I'm going to stick to my old ways. You are doing a great job as a teacher for all the young knitters out there, keep up the good work. And also I love your mom, such a good sense of humour you are lucky to have her in your life.

you have become my new knitting guru. You are the first person who has been able to explain everything on the pattern to make it understood!

Just watched this tutorial for the first time, love it. I'm going to make it for my first "full" sweater. I will need to shorten the length of the body, as tunic style sweaters bunch up when a person is in a wheelchair. Being able to knit and crochet my own will allow me to wear fashionable sweaters again. Thanks for all your tutorials and podcast, I've been learning a lot from them.

One of the biggest helps is the section on seaming it up. It's one part the can really stress out someone who's new to making knitted and crocheted garments.

I can crochet up a storm but was NEVER able to knit till I watched this video! OMG! I can knit. I have watched hundreds of knitting videos with no luck. The way you teach is simple and to the point. I am so glad I came across yours. I cant thank you enough. What a great Christmas gift.... to finely learn to how to knit.

I wanted to say thank you. You are amazing. It's the first time that there's a video that actually explains how to do both sleeves and no just saying "do the other sleeve exactly the same", without actually showing the process. It helped me so much. So thank you very much!.

Ive always been a crocheter, and have tried to knit, but I was never good at it. My niece was 10 when she learned and when she was 13 started a knit club at her school on lunch hour. When she was 16 she made her Mom a sweater. I was inspired and this year I have been practicing knit stitch only, always had a problem with purl.....but found this video, because I love sweaters and this was beautiful and have decided to make this. I love this tutorial. You show different ways to purl, and I love how you just are so relaxed and so informative.....I cant wait to make this sweater!!!!!!!! I think any future projects I will come to this page. Thank Marly for giving me inspiration for knitting

I've been knitting and crocheting for many years. I make afghans, dog sweaters, and scarves mostly, because when I attempted to make garments for myself they were so heavy and pulled out of shape (big girl here). I've been browsing lately for something that might work for me, and this sweater looks fairly light. I'm going to try it! Wish me luck!
