Demon Wind was released in 1990, so possibly made 1989. It is really scary, because of being out at night in the mist zombified demons, and the distant unhuman howling noise they hear outside. I always like the Cafe'/gas station being out in the middle of nowhere. They don't make them today like they used to.

Hey, Cam! I just want to say thank you. My grandmother passed away last night at the exact time I am writing this, and this video did make me laugh. Thank you so much. This has really helped me. Edit: also, if you want some vintage horror Richard Laymon books, I suggest trying to get his UK Headline editions. I have a few and they all look amazing!

Oh no Cameron....the videos always cost me money lol. Oh yes I grabbed Jessica Shriek when I read one of the authors short stories in the 'Cutting Edges' anthology. Dracula's Guest is actually a prequel novel to Dracula not sequel! Great video and I am now soon to be in even more debt buying these.
@Monsterblood2 жыл бұрын
Awesome haul man 🤘 You've never read Dracula?? 😱 Dracula's Guest is actually a lost chapter/segment from the original novel that was afterward converted to a short story. The Squaw is actually my favorite short story by Bram Stoker, I believe it's in that collection.

Nice book haul; I added The Hunt to my list of books to look out for. Love a good killer Bigfoot novel. I've tried to read the novel Dracula several times. Once I get through the first five chapters or so, the story just loses me. My most complete reading was also one of those Classics Illustrated editions when I was probably ten.

Cameron, your videos are such a horror literature education! Definitely going to read Bram Stoker's THE JEWEL OF SEVEN STARS. Thanks for that suggestion! (Especially as DRACULA is my favorite horror novel. Like others are saying, you should read it. You could make a whole episode or more on DRACULA and all the vampire literature it has spawned.)
