I love that you collect Sweet Valley High books! I have amazing memories of going into my town's small library and all the SVH books were in the young adult section in the basement. I would spend forever down there choosing which one to read!! So fun!!

I collected all the UK Horror High books by Nigel Robinson a few years ago. I was so surprised to learn of their existence! From the couple I've read, they went in a supernatural direction, as opposed to the straight thrillers of the US ones.

Thriftbooks is such a gamble, fantastic prices but definitely could be responsible for sending you something haunted if you're not careful.

Thriftbooks thankfully has always followed their quality index pretty well and refunded me if they sent me things that didn’t match the quality index. BetterWorldBooks made me cry once because I ordered a couple of my favorites and it was supposed to be the highest quality and they were ALL library books and it didn’t say that at all. They did right by me and refunded me but I’m scared to order from them. I’m so picky about how my books look on the shelf. And then for Half Price, because I worked there before COVID, I only buy books through them in person. Our store was really picky about quality but each HPB is different and some buy more obviously used books whereas we did not. They also have the worst shipping offer because you have to pay for each book separately since they all come from different stores all over.

The only thing I've disliked about thriftbooks is that sometimes they stick big stickers on the books and they end up pulling off parts of the cover :/

I had multiple bad experiences with ordering online. Especially seller called Medimops on Amazon. Multiple times they sent me different editions than the book that's shown on the picture 😭 Happened with Thriftbooks as well. Since I live in Europe, I have to wait for about a month until the books arrive. Very disappointing if it's not the book you expected. And yesss, those stupid stickers! 😖😂😝

Fffff- It's a shame Five Minute Chillers looks like an extremely rare book because not even Ebay has it listed (I saw one copy on Amazon for over 100 bucks and I'm like nope nope nope.) I can't wait for you to get spooked like I did! ( I swear being denied Goosebumps as a kid made me look into other creepy stuff. XD Might be why I fell so hard for K.A. Applegate and Paul Zindel's books.)

I actually really like that Daughters of Eve cover! I honestly would like to collect all (or most) of the different editions/covers of Duncan's books. I like the older/vintage ones more, but yeah, those 90s editions are also really cool. Those 80's editions (I think 80's, anyway), like the Locked in Time one, are definitely my least favorite of them but still not terrible haha. Ordering from Thrift Books or really any big used book seller is always a gamble. They don't have time to individuallly list each book by its proper condition, or they just don't care lol

I saw a book browsing amazon the other day and I havent seenbit hauled or reviewed on anyone's channel at all. But reading the synopsis, it made me think of you and Kasha's channels. It's called "Stolen Tounges By Felix Blackwell" . Like I said I haven't seen it anywhere at all so I cant say for sure that it's good but the synopsis sounds great and the cover arts really fun too. That may be one you might want to check out for a future haul if it seems interesting to you. I'm sad to see your rep ending with nightworms but I'm tha fully for the great videos you've spent talking about the company. They are always great. Hey Creeps :) I also has a lot of book hauls this month, like the first five books from Brian Lumley's Nercoscope series, all first print and in like new condition. FUN, FUN, FUN. I also got a lot of Ruth Ware, James Rollins, and Charlaine Harris novels. That was on top of a haul I did that included four Bentley Little novels and three Jack Ketchem books. I should be all set for the summer.

Oh! The same thing happened to me with the Lois Duncan novels! I ordered 'Gallows Hill' - not from Thriftbooks, my copy was from eBay - last year, and I was expecting that nice 90's cover you were talking about. It was meant to be this awesome shade of purple and all scratchy looking with a crystal ball on the front cover. It looked awesome! That's at least what I thought I was getting, but no... instead, I got this crappy grey cover with a silhouette of three people staring off into the distance, with orange highlight behind the title 'Gallows Hill' on the front cover of the book. My search continues for that nice 90's cover... :( Great video by the way! :)
