My First British Car Day!

I had such an amazing time at the 38th British Car Day!
It was a super fun day filled with amazing people and beautiful cars.
I want to thank Dave Sims for chatting with me and for organizing such a great event!
I can't wait to be there with my car next year :)

What a great car show! I will have to make the trip next year in the Spitfire. These car show are an inspiration on wanting to get my car done and I see it inspired you to do the same! I just joined my local British car club when I went to the show last weekend. Video coming soon! I am also going to make the trip to Indiana Pa tomorrow for the 6-pack trials to get video and maybe meet Elin and Chef and a few others there! Great video Brovo!

Loved it! The problem with going to these shows is that you want to make your car just like those. But you need two ingredients: time and money.

Really enjoying your videos, reminds me of when I first restored mine, started it in seventh grade was driving it by the time I was a senior in high school. That was 1994. I still have it and hope to pass it to my daughter

It's good to see you and other young people interested in British cars. I have owned a couple of spitfires and a GT6 in the past and think they are beautiful cars. Sadly I don't have any right now.

I am impressed by your enthusiasm for these cars. So great to see since it seems like so many people your age have zero interest in cars or driving. Only one of my cars is a British one and it's a long term project still. I go to the Vancouver version of that show each May. Beautiful setting at Van Dusen Gardens and always some cars that i've never even heard of before.

Love you enthusiasm for a 19 year old young lady it's really infectious. One piece of advice NEVER wrap any car in will destroy its bodywork and look awful. Learn to paint if it needs a spray job. It will keep it's value and if prepared correctly won't ever rust. Under wrapping it WILL rust and will be too far gone before you notice. The car will become costly to repair and will need to be scrapped. Wrapping companies don't tell you this. Anything cheap is just that cheap. Also keep it original all the way. Good luck

I love how you are highlighting this event and era of British cars however they are not exactly known for their reliability. This is a shame as they look so good and quintessentially British. It's nice our American couzens are keeping this trend alive.
